Day 441 - did NOT make it to the pool, but did over an hour of fast walking through the course of the day.

Good through Day 438. Swam for roughly an hour most days, except Saturday I strolled through a park /town festival, and shopping with my daughter for over an hour after heavy cleaning in the am. Then marched through the mega grocery store with the DH after dinner, so no pool for 1 day. I missed it. But, i really do feel lucky to have 3 wonderful pools at my disposal 7 days a week!

LOL, Minnie - to make up for lost exercise time, I got up early today and took it out of my sleep time instead!
75 min swimming + walking not yet complete
Day 434, because yesterday, as my day off, I was able to tread water for 70 min. and that was Day 433.

I think I just deleted my post. hmm. Claiming throug h Day 432. Swimming and walking daily. Vet appointment again tomorrow. ONly limited time (45-50 min) for swimming because little Lucy Fur must have her meals and shots on time. But she is SO much better!

Day 428 - distracted by my loving little cat who is coping with allergies and feline herpes, and diabetes and an upper respiratory infection. She has been SO sick, and we have to change her diet and give her shots two or three times a day. She's been to the vet 5 times in the last 7 days, and has panic attacks that lead to convulsions and seizures. It is SO hard on her, and that is hard on us.
BUT I need my swimming even more - have cut it to45-50 min/day rather than my usual 60 -75 min/day. But I am claiming the days.

Thanks, Minnie! I did NOT get to swim as much as I would have liked, but I prioritize that ahead of most anything else. SO, Saturday went as planned, with a 40 min swim and I didn't even have to claim "heavy housecleaning" as exercise - although I did work up a sweat vacuuming. (Does anyone else perspire a lot just vaccuming?) So Sat was a good Day 408. Sunday, Day 409 was also a little short, since I swim after working an earlier shift on Sunday, and was late getting out of the parking lot here, since a co-worker's truck needed a jump. Forty min again.
Monday, Day 410, I swam for a full hour before work. Same for today, so that is Day 411 or this streak

Friday in a half an hour before work today. Needed to stop for food stuff on the way back, and still cook and clean and get ready for work. Let the cleaning slack off - I have tomorrow off, but since we are expecting company in the evening when I would otherwise swim, I'll need to clean like fury and then swim and then clean some more. wed, my Day off work, was also my Day 405. Went to the pool late to swim with my daughter after her class, got there early, swam laps for 1/2 hour then the two of us walked and talked in the water for another hour. Good day!
Today, the 25th, I swam before work for 60 min to claim Day 406 of this streak.

time flies!
Sat, the 20th, my Day 401, I drove 3.5 hours out and 3.5 hours back to go to a family reunion. Turned in my rental car and showed up at the pool just an hour before it was due to close, so only swam for 30 min or so, but I DID exercise for at least 10 min.
Sun, the 21st, Day 402, I worked until 9p, and found only 40 min to swim late night.
This morning, Mon, the 22nd, I got in a full hour in the water before coming to work, and and doing the 'brisk walk' over each break. So I can claim Day 403.

Minnie, I'm really sorry to hear that just walking is hard on your knee!

Day 388 - swimming, 60 min so far today. I feel so much bettter when I can move around in the water for a full hour. When the rib break was new was the only time I didn't LOVE the swim - cause it hurt.
