Friday in a half an hour before work today. Needed to stop for food stuff on the way back, and still cook and clean and get ready for work. Let the cleaning slack off - I have tomorrow off, but since we are expecting company in the evening when I would otherwise swim, I'll need to clean like fury and then swim and then clean some more. wed, my Day off work, was also my Day 405. Went to the pool late to swim with my daughter after her class, got there early, swam laps for 1/2 hour then the two of us walked and talked in the water for another hour. Good day!
Today, the 25th, I swam before work for 60 min to claim Day 406 of this streak.

time flies!
Sat, the 20th, my Day 401, I drove 3.5 hours out and 3.5 hours back to go to a family reunion. Turned in my rental car and showed up at the pool just an hour before it was due to close, so only swam for 30 min or so, but I DID exercise for at least 10 min.
Sun, the 21st, Day 402, I worked until 9p, and found only 40 min to swim late night.
This morning, Mon, the 22nd, I got in a full hour in the water before coming to work, and and doing the 'brisk walk' over each break. So I can claim Day 403.

So, yesterday was my Day 390, with 60 min in the water - mostly treading water.
that make today Day 391 - just 50 min swimming laps plus 35 min walking briskly.

Minnie, I'm really sorry to hear that just walking is hard on your knee!

Day 388 - swimming, 60 min so far today. I feel so much bettter when I can move around in the water for a full hour. When the rib break was new was the only time I didn't LOVE the swim - cause it hurt.

Day 387 - yesterday - I was actually in the water for about an hour and a half, moving around. Today I claim as Day 388 - 1 hour swimming laps plus half an hour walking briskly - my tracker says I burned close to 1000 calories today.

Thanks for the good wishes Minnie. Pain has gotten to be less, and I have been able to swim - except not yet today. Today is an early day and plan is to swim after work after 9p.
I'm a little nerous about that because my car overheated on the way back from the health club last night and I had to put 2 gallons of water in, after it cooled off. I will check before I hit the road, I guess. Have a flashlight, can travel, lol.
Meanwhile my walk from my first break was a brisk 11 min, so I can claim today, as Day 384

Thanks, Minnie - I did go to doc, and I DO have a broken rib and it will hurt for about 6 weeks. So, Now I know.pposed to take deep breaths at least hourly, and since that HURTS, I have a prescription for heavy-duty pain pills. But DANG - I let her give me pill that make me nauseous, so I'm saving them for bedtime only.
I went to the pool and carefully did NOT lift my arms over my head - walked back and forth, did some treading water - actually, I do feel better, a little bit.
And I can claim the day, except I don't remember what day it is, LOL

I CAN claim Day 378, because I have taken a coupole of brisk walks, but am disappointed with myself because I did not make it to the pool to swim today. My ribs hurt! I am actually wondering if one is broken and poking me. I had a bad fall last Thursday, and my wrist is better and my knees, but the pain in my ribs just keeps jabbing at me - when I BREATHE, especially if I laugh or need to cough. I'm going to the doc tomorrow. Enough of this!

Happy Independence Day! I got to swim last night - treading water for an hour - and this morning - swimming laps for over an hour, with warm up and cool down both days. Feels so good. I LOVE the summer time! Oh, claiming Day 359

Days 356 and 357, swam for an hour each day. Can't really claim today yet. At work, ready to walk through breaks and gym bag is in the car for later - off at 9p this eve.

Day 355 - spent an hour in the pool this am, doing aerobics while treading water emoticon Loved it. Have also done at least 30 min walking daily. (An hour in the pool yesterday and the day before, as well.)
