From todays blog:
I am promoting Spark People emoticon , tomorrow for the LV Santa 5k emoticon . (My 4th year, the race's 10th, Ginnis World records emoticon will be counting us! We have won several years in a row for the world record of most Santa's emoticon walking, together at 1 time. Last year we beat out London AND Japan! With 10,000 Santas!) It is a fund raiser for Opportunity Village, a group of wonderful people, needing a little help emoticon ! I have my head dress & bird.... "Wild Thing" emoticon puppet all ready to go! It's actually 4 hours of walking including all the activities! FUN! I'm thinking of everyone! emoticon

I am 'covering' several of my Spark teams! If you feel inspired to join any of them, they are all wonderful! I made a promise to myself to check in with each of my teams at least 1 time a week. There are some not listed, because they do not relate specifically to the event tomorrow. Sure would LOVE to meet some Sparkers there! emoticon

SP Class of March 11-17, 2012 (my home team)

Every Day is a New Start- (they support me like crazy!)

Losing it for the love of performing- (I am defiantly performing!)

SP Largest Virtual Weigh in- (I'm SURE to be down in weight after this race!)

We Love Trader Joes!- (I am taking snacks from there. Veggies, Protein bars etc)

Earth Angels- (I feel them all around, there is SO much joy at the event!)

Readers of the Spark- (Chris recommends we volunteer, I am, for Opportunity Village, by walking)

At Goal & Maintaining- (This team keeps me accountable & they are SO supportive!)

Christmas Present From Me- (I have my present all ready, I just need to get back to goal!)

The Las Vegas Santa 5K Walk/Run- (This team motivates me ALL year long!)

The Woo Hoo Jar Lounge- (I created "Wild Thing's" Costume for this team, she will be walking the race with me!)

Las Vegas Sparkers- (Of course!)

Angels on Earth- (I'm feeling like one!)

Zumba Lovers- (I do Zumba 3 times a week, all year long to stay attuned to my body!)

Old School Trades & Crafts- (Being a third generation marionette artist & performing tomorrow)

On the Lighter Side- ( This team is represented because they make me laugh & I will ALLOT!)

Spiritual Awaking- (This team is helping me do, just that!)

Purposeful Positivity- (Laughter has gotten me through SO much this past year!)

Sparkguy's 10 minute fitness- (Chris, I would not be here without you! You are a master Motivator!)

Head to Toe Beauty- (I will be putting on my best Santa Suite EVER!)

Pilates Lovers- (This team helps keep me motivated to be toned & inches DOWN! I use Sheppard Pilates DVD 2 or 3 times a week!)

Spark People Community Team- (Spreading the Spark to everyone!)

And my newest team:
Birding Across America- ("Wild Thing" is performing the walk with me!)

I am VERY excited! I have been walking our dog, LADY LUCY THE WONDEROUS CIRCUS DOG, all year to be able to walk this race for so many hours. The actual race is only about 1 hour, I can walk a mile in under 20 minutes! When I first tried for a mile, it took me 2 hours, no really! But with Chris's 'baby steps' I can do it much faster! LUCY, too! I also hike & enjoy the activates above. With Spark People I have learned to have my body THRIVE on the 51 pound weight release AND just keep MOVING! I have been typing for so long in this blog, I need to walk & work & get back to my amazing life! Thanks for commenting on this blog!
