I started running today. I could only manage 5 min before I had to walk so I did run / walk intervals. I held out for 55 min total. I think I did pretty good for my first effort. emoticon

FELT GOOD AND DID A LOT AROUND HERE TODAY .. SO DID NOT GET IN THE
EXTRA-CISE.. WELL I DID DO THE BANDS FOR ARMS - ROTOR CUFF TEAR ACTING UP SO HUNG THE RUBBER THING AROUND THE DOOR KNOB AND PULL OUT FRONT WARD AND BACKWARD .. THEN STRETCH ARMS .. WILL DO WEIGHTS TOO

emoticon fast walked the park by the marina - mile around .. I did 1 & 1/2 miles of fast walking and up & down the stairs they have - gotten in 9,000 steps so far too .. been a while .. very happy with myself..
but I could walk outside as the heat & humidity had boke and it was a wonderful morning emoticon

Day 41 - 40 minutes cardio dance. I was trying to take it easy because I over did it yesterday and my knee was hurting a lot. I as only going to do about 10-20 minutes but I lost control of myself.

Sometimes we just need a day off. You can take your rest, and get right back on to your plan. We have to listen to our bodies too.

Used my Silver Sneakers membership to join the Y for free today. Did 20 minutes on the recumbent cross trainer, 10 on the upright bicycle, and 8 on the treadmill

Came home and swam for about 10 minutes and just exercised gently in the water.

I loved the Sing off show. We were having trouble with the station it was on the last time, so I only was able to see the first few shows. I think I remember that group too and liked them.

Hoping to catch it the next season.

Today I rode my outside bike for 8 minutes. That is the first time I have actually ridden since quite a bit before my knee replacement last August. Really felt great to be able to do it.

Then swam in the pool for 35 minutes.

Doing better.

Wanted to share one of my favorite new groups, Home Free. I cheered them on as they won The Sing Off show. They are an a capella group, so no instruments, except their own voices. I find them to be amazing.

Did the best I could in recording my fitness, think I did pretty well.

Yesterday was so tired from the trip from the ship to the airport, and then the flight home, and the ride from the airport the day before, that I did not do much. Just some laundry and general cleaning.

Today feeling more energetic and swam in my pool for 35 minutes.

Feel pretty good tonight.

Hoping to swim in my own pool for a few more days, then on to the Y to join with my Silver Sneakers. YAY
