Little_lady - Hi. I have the FIT app loaded to my phone - a free thing from my health club. It works really well - with one funny bit. Sometimes, maybe I glide while walking or something, and it shows up as biking instead of walking.

Day 301 today. A Master Swimmer kicked me out of my lane 10 min short of an hour, but oh well.

I really want to start a 10 minute walking streak on my treadmill - weather too unsettled to be about to count on going outside. Think I'll challenge myself to that right now!

I bought a kitchen timer a few monthes ago and did not use it very much. Well, it just may be a new friend... I am a writer and sometimes get lost in work. So, I can set my timer to remind me to walk, do chores, etc. Also, I might look into chair exercise. emoticon

OK so today I am still streaking, just not so good at reporting. Today was day 290, with a 50-min swim doing laps and water exercise. Morning at the pool, the ave age is about 85, so those classes don't challenge me much. Had today off, yay - and tonight is the DH's BD party.

Can't leave you all alone, Minnie!
I HAVE been exercising daily - in fact, I'm up to an average of 75 min per day. I just feel like I have NO TIME outside of work and family and exercise. Still, I LOVE the fact that people are starting to compliment me, and that the tracker shows me past the half-way point. emoticon Day 274, not yet over, as I plan to swim, I have fast-walked 50 min today so far.

Congrats, Minnie! Consistency, consistency, consistency! i know what you mean about doing more - but the important thing is that you do SOMETHING every day, and that's a great streak.

Minnie, thanks - and congrats on your long streak!
I swam 60 min tonight, and my phone says I walked for 35. I speedwalk on my breaks, and park about 1/4 mile from the office - then hike another 1/2 mile or so to my desk, LOL. It helps to keep me moving. today is, I think Day 259 of this streak.

I had been doing well on having at least 10 minutes of some kind of exercise - and then it was Christmas. So today I am committing to myself to get back on track. The holidays are over, the house has been cleaned up and now it's time to get ready for the New Year!

And dec 26 was my Day 255 - swim for 50 min. The weather outside is cold and rainy - I almost stayed home - but once I got started, it was a good feeling.

Wow, have I really not reported since 12/16? (and that for the day before!, reporting late).
So, counting back, yesterday - Christmas Day! - was my Day 254, and it was very nearly the day I failed to make my 10 min of exercise. Work days, I have taken to running around inside the building - which is HUGE and includes a walking trail - plus doing the steps 2X in each 15 min break, so that the couple of nights I did NOT make it to the pool, I still got in 45 min plus of very brisk walking. Xmas Day though - at 11:30pm I did some leg lifts and planks and pushups, and was horrified at how difficult it was for me. My muscles are used to other forms of exercise, and I had the illusion of being in OK shape - but some parts of me need a lot of work!
