Oh, Minnie, I'm sorry - I didn't really think you'd be left so alone in here, and sick to boot! I've been swimming and working and saw a couple of doctors and changed some meds, so that now I can move about almost like a normal person. I swam an hour today. Walked a bit tonight, watching for illegal fireworks. There were some, but I didn't get to enjoy them. They finished up or were over the hill. We are kind of in a valley.

I spent four months in so much pain. The last few weeks have been worry about work - we just can't seem to get paid for what we do, so I am having a hell of a time paying my people and my bills.

But, my feet and knees hurt less than they did, and that is a good thing! I really, really appreciate the pools in the summer.

I joined a gym with a pool! And my work will pay me $20/month if I go to the gym 8 times/month. I went and played in the pool Thursday. I plan to go back Tuesday.

Hi. I keep popping in from time to time and then I fall off. Been pretty consistently working out, but not coming here. I need to come back.

Today was day 4 of doing crossfit this week and I went for a 40 minute walk with my son.

I had a body scan on Tuesday, and I have a really high amount of fat (like 40% and 75 pounds) so my goal will be to bring it down and change my body composition.

oh, I haven't been reading. barely been posting. sorry. cold and jury duty distracted me. glad to have you back. I think you are lucky re jury duty. might be interesting to watch, if I didn't have to judge/decide. lots of sitting around and not necessarily interesting in court either. i'm glad to be done, now. I think swimming is good for your knee, else it gets "rusty", but your doc and therapist ought to be able to advise you better.

Hello again! Did anybody miss me?

I decided to try resting my poor abused knee to see if I could get the pain to back off. This was not successful, so I've decided to get off my butt and back at it. Day 3 of this streak - swimming every day - with company this eve. I had missed my friends at the pool, too!

Minnie - I'm sorry jury duty is not your cup of tea. I always thought it would be kind of interesting. But, the one time I was called, they cut me without even asking me a single question.

Hi, I just wanted to peek in. Good to see you MINNIE and DIANNE! Still at it!

I've been doing Crossfit 3-5 days a week. Took this morning off, but I"m ready to try the at least 10 minute per day habit again if you'll have me!

After I get today's workout in, it'll be day 4 in a streak.

I did do my morning walk and am about to head out for my afternoon walk. Enjoyed a gentle swim last night, but DANG, I wish my knees would stop hurting. I may have to break down and see a doc. (MY doctor is out of commission, having both knees replaced.)

so I meant to do something light yesterday. "cold" wasn't behaving. but i didn't.
felt better today. walked an hour and danced an hour. hope I didn't overdo. going to bed
