Dang! 7th day and woke up this morning with a painful hip injury, oddly enough, it is my good hip! Felt fine during yesterday's workout, but must have pulled something without noticing; terrible pain shooting from groin through lower back. Took an aleve, soaked in a warm bath, helped but not enough. So until the pain goes away, I will limit myself to a seated upper body light weight routine, but I won't quit. Nothing like a stupid injury to send one's good intentions backward. I am feeling very sorry for myself just because there was a bizarre 15 degree drop in temperature today and it would have been a rare cool, crisp August day for walking in SC.

I have been doing the challenge since July 17 and some days I just got 10 minutes in other days more didn't always stop by and visit but with my tracker watched the steps and minutes add up its now the 25 of Aug and time to get my self ready for fall and get going and out of the lazy summer plan . and meet my Fall goal saying good bye to the 150's and hello 140's getting me closer to my goal. I have not been the fastest loser since I joined in 2012 at 198 pounds ! the big thing I tell my self is i never left did slip and fall played the yo to game . getting there now one 10 min work out at time .

got in 30 min of my videos .. emoticon me !!! BS dropped and then over ate at dinner - oh well .. hoping to get back used to it so this doesn't happen - had it good for 2 years til thyroid wacked out again and dr did not help - trying armour thyroid with a different doc - we do not have an endocrinologist here - have not replaced the great one that left ..

It was hot outside today, pool water was cold, but I got in and it was fine. Swimming, 25 minutes. Hoping that the cold water burned a few extra calories LOL

Day 31 for me getting and extra 10 minutes each day to my plan from July 17 to Aug 17 my regular plan was 45 minutes a day . Spark guy challenges gave me the idea to add extra time to the day. some days i got an extra 30 minutes but always 10 minutes. still working to get 120 mins in each day. have set a goal of Oct17 this gives me 2 months to reach my goal thanks Spark guy for getting back on track and out of my slippery mud puddle . emoticon

Got in my pool and even though it was a bit chilly, not too bad, and I spent about 35 or 40 minutes in the water moving,, and actually swimming for 25 of those minutes.

What a mess to have to deal with. Glad your furbabies are ok.

Took my great nieces and my great dog to the park today and we walked for 15 minutes. We had a nice day together,

They go back to school next week, so I will only have them Tues, Weds and Thurs after school. Not such long days.

RPCLEM. I have had bruised ribs too, not pleasant. I was sure they were cracked as it was so painful but no just bruised. Get well soon.

Bonnie, sprinkler pipes above top floor broke on Jan 8. Froze. No one on top floor, luckily I was home or there would have been more damage. Had to leave for 4 mos. Condo floors, walls and lights, all replaced. Ins. Paid depreciated price for most items. I just thank God I was home or my little fur balls would have run into the woods when they broke down the doors.

Day 19 - 2 hours cleaning and reorganizing my office. Lots of lifting, up and down ladders, moving furniture and putting away. Still not done.

Ribs are getting better. I guess they are bruised and not cracked. Thank God!!

Minnie, Probably wasn't the smartest but I'm on a roll and need to get this done. Never know when I will have the time again.

So sorry you were in one of the areas that had flooding. Good luck with your cleanup. That has to be just overwhelming, and lots of exercise.

Day 18 - spent 1 hour cleaning. Really did 4 but only counting 1. Lots of bending and lifting. My ribs are sore.
