You are still off to a good start. Don't expect too much too soon.
If the weather is bad, I often put on an exercise video, or play on my stability ball. Sometimes, I get dressed up and put on music and go dancing inside my home. The idea is MOVEMENT works. It don't have to be walking outdoors. Walk indoors as fast as you can safely walk from one part of the house to another part. Do it every commercial break during your favorite one hour show. You will get 10 minutes in that way too.
