Hi Savannah

Re your query vitamins. I live in New Zealand and the vitamins I take I make sure they are gf & dairy free and are made from natural products not chemicals..But do feel they have there place in the management of colitis. I wish you well and hope that you can manage your colitis. Have you thought of going gf and dairy free for a month a see if that also helps. I do believe that food plays a big part in the management of these conditions. Have a great day. Jan.

Hello there,

I'm a 19 year old female and I was diagnosed with Ulcerative Colitis when I was 17. I haven't been in remission at all yet, and I've been taking Remicade infusions for a little over a year now. I was just a little bit concerned about vitamins or supplements. Is there anything I should know or read about vitamins and Ulcerative Colitis? I'm trying to find something that's also been approved by the U.S. Pharmacopeia or NSF international- just something that's been tested that I can know is being made properly. Anybody got any hints?

Please and thank you, :)
Savannah
