I am a Team Captain for the NJ CCFA walk in Liberty State Park in June. I agree it is a great event and my team has raised over $5,000 in the last 4 years and I hoping to add another $1,000 this year!!!!

Hi there - I have been a Crohn's patient for the past 6 years. I have struggled with it a bit over the past couple years. It has been so wonderful to be connected to the CCFA community. Does anyone else do the annual Take Steps walks? I live in Western Washington (state) and ours is coming up June 1st! I am really excited to be a part of the walk this year and be among the community of supporters, patients, doctors, family and friends. I also feel less alone out here in the world when I see the community of people who support this disease. It has given me so much hope over the years that one day we will find a cure. Anyone who hasn't yet checked out ccfa.org I would strongly encourage you to check out what they offer. I know being a part of the organization has done a lot for me!!
