Some of things we do in our house is to keep tv, dvd, computers, peripherals and the like on power strips that we turn off every night. We unplug the coffee maker. No need to have the clock running on that.
We turn down the heat when no one is going to be home for at least 6 hours and close off rooms that are not being used. Saves on energy both in summer and winter.
I downloaded dopdf so when I want to print something, I click Print then look for dopdf in my printer screen and click ok. It saves the item as a pdf file rather then wasting money.
I carry re-usable bags to the stores and shop for things that have the least amount of packaging.
There are tons more that I do but let us hear from you. What do you do?
