Well so far I am at 15 pounds lost. I have had ups and downs. I have given in two times to urges. Not due to stress but due to temptation. Wrong place at the right time. But the scale is still tipping the right way. Good luck to all.
I'm the ambassador at our community and we have a few serious contenders. I wish there were more, but one ambassador can only do so much! When I was working out in the exercise room yesterday, there were 3 other girls there! That's the most I've ever seen - so that's encouraging. I like the idea about giving out healthful snacks.
Tahosa - that's great about being so close to work! Let us know how that goes.
I want to be active on this site this time - I really could use the encouragement for my own self. So...here goes!
I am the ambassador at our community and we try to encourgage all associates to participate. We are having weekly weigh ins and during those weigh ins I give out a healthy snack or bottled water to the participants. We are all very excited to lose weight and look great!
Our facility is supposedly on the weigh program, but like the weighs in the past nothing is usually done.
I myself have been extremely busy for about 12 weeks and just when a decent schedule finally shows up. I have to move. So by next week it will start to pick up for me. I'll be living only a mile from work so that means I can walk to work and back home. A good way to get in some fitness minutes.
Haven't seen any posts about the new challenge and wondering if I am in the wrong place or if there is no energy left after the holiday. I am doing the challenge at my new work location.Last challenge the team I was on petered out very fast with one person quitting and one gaining weight and saying "the the hell". This time I was determined to make it great so I volunteered to be the ambassador. My team is great and I am trying to encourage all the teams to work together....in the end everyone wins. Tonight I brought my son to a work out with 2 members from another team and we had a great time. I hope everyone eles out there is doing great and hope to hear wonderful stories.
Move out of your comfort zone. You can only grow if you are willing to feel awkward and uncomfortable when you try something new.
