For the remaining time in December, I would like to accomplish...
1) regular weigh-ins to stay accountable
2) one work out a day (10 minute minimum)
3) drink lots of water, 8 glasses min

Three things I want to accomplish for July 2013:

1) Join a new DietBet
2) Fit into a smaller jean size
3) Eat fresh fruits and veggies with 90% of my meals and snacks

NOVEMBER!
1) Complete two virtual 5ks.
2) Reach 750 exercise minutes! Whooohoooo.
3) Combat my last month's problem of reaching my protein, iron and calcium. Possibly see a dietitian

1) Exercise for 10 minutes each day and 45 minutes three times a week.

Did not quite make my goal in 2010 so will try again
But still was surprised to be best loser of the year

Am in the 180's and hope to lose 2# this month
Sort through my sewing equipment and sew a quilt

I want cont to meet with my pilates reformer instructor 1/week for 30 minutes.
Weigh myself and take measurements once a week.
Log my intake for an average of 5/week.

What a great year to try out snowshoeing. I tried it once at a resort on the Gunflint where they had them available for free. It was hard! I suggest the plastic ones not the old fashion looking kind. If you can get poles that can helpful. As far as a place I suggest Pike Island at Fort Snelling State Park. It is where the Mississippi and the Minnesota Rivers come together. My second suggestion would be to check out Three Rivers Regional park system web site. They have many parks and they may even rent snowshoes at one of them.

Let's see ---

January is looming. 3 things I want to accomplish in January:

1. Continue walking at my TrekDesk at least 3 days a week. (Some weeks are HARD!)
2. Lose 10# (I get my first LapBand fill in early January, so I'll have another tool at my disposal).
3. Make time to try snowshoeing (I've been interested, but have not had the motivation in the past -- this will be the hardest one for me, I think)

PS - if anyone has any info on snowshoe rental, public places in the Twin Cities area that are good for snowshoe beginners, etc, let me know!

The tradition of sending Christmas cards has fallen by the wayside mainly because of the cost of postage but still continue to keep in contact with friends over the years having moved several times have people in all the cities we have lived that we contact once a year and treasure their friendship one friend at a time
