As I've never taken the pills I have no idea what it feels like. You know your own body. You will figure out what is helping and what isn't. Maybe add in one extra pill a day and see how that affects your system? 4-8 sounds a lot, I agree.
I'm glad he listened to you.

I also take an Omega-3 pill, I know if I don't drink enough right afterwards I can taste the fish. It just seems that 4-8 pills is so much.

He told me that constipation can make things worse & I do tend to be constipated. It's actually been bothering me lately. But I haven't had any problems.

I've gained a lot of weight the last 6 months, but before that my stomach would actually bloat up to the point that it was obvious.

I feel that he listened to me. He told me to come back in a year. So, I'm good.

Well, I'm glad the biopsy was negative! What a relief for you. (hugs)

Seems I'm not the only one with a kinky colon. LOL The description of mine from the x-ray tech who did the barium enema procedure on me actually said, "long and convoluted". I'm so proud I can even spell that! *grin*

I went on a fibre pill hunt. These seem to be the main options over on this side of the pond;

They seem to mostly be up to six pills a day plus a glass of water per pill from what I was reading, so you'd certainly get most of your water in if you took six. It is the freaky warnings I hate - swelling in the throat etc. Do these pills start to swell as soon as they come into contact with liquid? *shudders*

How do you feel about how the appointment went? Do you feel he listened to you at all?
Hugs,
Lex xxx

Had a follow up appointment from my colonoscopy today. My biopsy came back negative. He said that I had an abnormal looking fold in my colon and that's why he did the biopsy. Told me to eat a high fiber diet. I try. Fruits and veggies, plus I take a couple of fiber pills. He told me I wasn't taking near enough fiber pills! Eat a big bowl of salad every day was his advice & eat a high fiber diet. Come back in a year.
