To all team members reading this from the previous team leader there was a problem with the spark people. They sent me an email telling me the previous leader had stepped down and they didn't tell the same thing to the previous leader. She and I talked it out and my helping out released her to do the teams she was currently working on. So everything is copestic with us. Just wanted to share that with everyone. Lexi is always welcome to come back her and put in her 2 cents. She certainly knows alot more about the disease than I do. I just saw the team, wanted to join and saw when there was no leader offered to help out. Had no wish no tread on anyone's toes. Lexi and I talked it out and we are good.
Sorry I haven't been here last couple of days. I have been recuperating from my hospital stay. Still in a lot of pain. I may not be able to come every day but I will be here at least once or twice a week until I am better then it will be every day.
Be blessed everyone. Happy Easter or Passover whatever the case may be!
It would have been nice if you had asked if I'd stepped down as team leader (Which I hadn't, by the way) instead of just barrelling in and taking over like you have!
Good luck with the team.

Hello My name is Amy. I would like to introduce myself as your new team leader. I am a co-leader of carbohydrate addicts and use to be a team leader of 1200 calorie sparkers(a long time ago). I am in my second bout of diverticulitis, just got out of the hospital this last thursday. I had a cat scan that didnt show it, when they did a colonoscopy they found it just as I thought they would. I have epilepsy, asthma, and fatty liver disease. I joined weight watchers last June and have lost 28.4 pounds through weight watchers. I have to have a biopsy in may to see how bad the fatty liver disease is though I dont think it is as bad as it was last June.
My goal is to put recipes on here, tell me what works for you to avoid the pain of getting diverticulitis again and again, and just tell me how your days go. There will be a monthly coffee hour where everyone can tell what they have been doing, and a weekly weight tracker where you can put your successes of your weight loss.
Please introduce yourself to me so I can get to know everyone!!! The other team captain I guess has stepped down. If anyone wants to help please contact me and I will let spark people know. Amy5556
