http://www.end-diverticulitis.com/page/13/ diverticulitis-reference.html Hi , I just found this group, and I would like to share a web site that I have found very helpful, I just got over a flare up, and I found this web site when I was still having pain, so I followed a lot of the good advice he shares, and I feel so much better now. I take a good pro-biotic, digestive enzyme, and I start everyday with aloe Vera juice, and I am pain free. I am back to my high fiber diet, and feeling good!
Smile, and the world smiles with you !

So how's everyone holding up at this point? Managing to stick to your diet? Exercise regularly? Avoiding flare-ups?
I've been stuck on the weight loss plateau from hell for several months. Most of it is my fault -- I've not been tracking calories here like I should have. The good news is that I've kept on top my exercise so I'm adding muscle. Thighs, calves, and biceps are all showing growth since last November.
I'm recommitting to tracking my food intake here and I'm bumping up my exercise regimen to get back on track. Hopefully this starts the pounds dropping again.
I have also added two new supplements to my vitamin supplementation regimen:
1. Xenadrine RZR-X by Cytogenix
This is an ephedrine free thermogenic and appetite suppressant. It delivers a good dose of caffeine, but without making my jittery or causing me to crash as the pill wears off. I find it's also very effective as an appetite suppressant. I'm eating half of what I used to with no urge to snack between meals.
2. Conjugated Lineolic Acid (CLA)
This helps keep small fat cells from getting big again, and has been proven to be somewhat effective in helping maintain weight loss in several studies.
I'm continuing to do step aerobics for 30 min/day, weight training 3x/week, Tai-Chi, and skipping rope.
