To not be so stressed out about the eating of the high cholesterol foods, high salt, and high sugars that I don't enjoy myself by going. Sometimes I just wish that I could get sick, and not go. Last year I was good, and took my own food. But at x-mas, I did the same thing but got defeated. I made it thru the meals, but I couldn't pass up the crème puffs dipped in hot fudge. Usually even if I pick healthy foods out, they are still laced with spices that make me swell, and throw off my blood sugar. It takes me three weeks to straighten out.

Two pounds since 10-10-13. Not great, but still seeing progress, slow but sure. BTW I have found that not eating all that good food is the best way to survive Thanksgiving. I do not buy into the excuse that it is a "holiday" and you can go off your program. Taste... don't feast is the trick.

How to survive all that unhealthy food! I will plan ahead, and take food with me. I will not fall weak to finding something, that is something I can't resist, and think I can only eat one! Like those éclairs with hot fudge, that did me in last time. I did so well till I got to them.

I just realized I forgot to update! On Thursday I was 188.2. I am hoping for 187 or lower this Thursday! Wish me luck! I am also changing my goal to be 182 by Thanksgiving, because that will mean I will have shaved 10 points of my BMI.
Hello all! I hope everyone is having a wonderful week! I am just sending in my weekly update. I weighed in at 190.1 today, which is a loss of 2.3 lbs this past week. It feels really good and I am very happy about my results. How are you guys doing?
