NO, NO, NO! I drive 33 miles down booney back roads to get to work in Big Rapids, and I hate it in winter. I hate cold, I hate driving on nasty roads, I hate having to wear heavy coats and boots. I tend to hibernate and gain 5 or 10 lbs in the winter. Wish I did like it, I might get more exercise that way.

I love snow. I love driving in it - the adventure. I lost my license a while back and one of the things I really miss is driving in the snow. I love how fresh and new the world looks when the snow is falling and only wish we got more. I grew up in MI and now live in Erie, PA, close to the lake, so if there's a chance of getting snow we usually do. I really miss MI but this isn't bad for a runnerup.

I used to hate it before I started working out and losing weight. Now its fine, especially if I can rent snow shoes. I love snow shoeing. I need grip things for my running shoes and I would be happier.

I generally like the snow. However I detest the temperature bouncing around that has been going on the past few winters. I have several joint issues that are made worse when it's -15 one day and then 50 the next. I've learned to plow this year which was exciting for me.
A sledding hill is sure to burn calories! I love to ski and enjoy all that winter brings to Michigan. Snow for sledding, skiing, snow shoes, snowmobiles, hose drawns sleighs, ice fishing, skating, photography (esp. black and white), and romantic lodges with fireplaces in the cabins! Even shoveling can have its rewards, esp if you require a good work out. dennyb
