I don't know about anyone else but when I got to my mid fifties.....it seems like overnight I gained 50 pounds. My life and eating habits never changed but obviously my metabolism did. In the early 2000's I worked for Weight Watchers and had to be at goal weight, then I got in my mid fifties and life has never been the same since.

I'm doing TurboFire (second time) and ChaLEAN Extreme (first time!) right now, and I love them together! I am a total DVD addict and would buy every new program and video that came out if it wouldn't put us in the poor house. Do you prefer routine, a structured multi-week program, or to just do whatever suits you each day?

Remind yourself of your goals and purposes often. And be willing to give up the junk that really isn't that important but it sucks so much of your spare time. Mine are facebook and TV (in all its forms). I struggle with giving them up, but what I can do with reclaiming that time very much surprises me - so that's where all my time went!

Is there any tips that have worked for you? Favorite workout? I've done it before with great success but this time I'm not as lucky, summers hard for me...no real schedule but Im ready now and determined. Would love to hear your tips, good/bad and any advice.
