I just started on this site and I am not entirely sure how this community board works. Looks very different from other boards I have been on. I am looking for someone in the Bay City/Saginaw/Midland area to be a walking and/or bike buddy for workouts. Any takers???

I am from Reed City and we meet at the high school track every morning at 5:30am. Anyone is welcome. Today was our 2nd day and my body is screaming at me!!!!!! I have to work this afternoon and my job is CENA at the hospital where I am on my feet all night!!!!! I am determined to lose 85 pounds and there is no better time than now to get started!emoticon

I agree that a workout buddy or group would be a great idea. I'm too far north to group up with you. Have you checked the team map to see if there is anybody nearby you?

I am new here, in fact this is my first day. We just started a "boot camp" here in our little town. We meet at 5:30 AM at the high school track. We work out for an hour and today was our first day. Needless to say, I am a little sore. I think working out with someone is such a help to me. I hope you find a group or even start one!emoticon

Hello all! I'm new to this. Anybody know of or belong to an organized workout group? If not, anybody interested in starting one. None of my friends/family are serious about weightloss...and I need to get serious. Im willing to join any gym/club in the downriver area.
