My hubby got me a large food processor to replace my small one, a creme brulee torch and ramkin set so I can make more of Chef Meg's scrumptious Cranberry Orange Creme Brulee, and a new cheese slicer. My son bought me a beginner's yoga dvd. I also got a new pedometer and a personal pedicure kit. Spent Christmas Eve and Mass with hubby's family and Christmas Day with my family. A wonderful holiday!

I agree, the memories and family being close and together are the best gifts. .... and I captured them on my new camera!!!!

My hubby got me a Kindle Fire before Christmas as a gift. It was nice but the best gift for me was seeing my nearly grown children enjoying what they got and also what they gave as gifts to others. Hopefully next year there will be more handmade rather than store bought gifts.

Memories!!!! 8 of my 9 children were here for Christmas, and all 5 of my grandbabies were here. My husband & I just relish these times. God really has been good to us in so many ways.
A calm, quiet Christmas. We had Christmas day with just our family without rushing around, it was so wonderful!!!! I had to work in the afternoon and the kids got us up WAY too early, but overall, it was a great day.
Material gifts were diamond chip earrings, a special ornament, a rose, a naughty gift, a set of books that I really like, a dragon statue, and some homemade goodies from the kids.

We are waiting to have our Christmas next Saturday, to give me time to get to feeling better. I was in the hospital from the 17th through the 20th.

My most valuable gift was the time spent with family--away from the cold, snowy weather of my home state. I received jewelry, perfume, a purse -- but most of the gifts went to the kids (my grand kids). It was all about watching their faces as they opened their gifts.

It was a good Christmas for me; although this year I was definitely more excited about what I was giving than what I was about to get. My younger brother is hard to get a laugh or a smile out of, but he chuckled when I gave him a shirt that said, "Non-flammable? Challenge accepted."

Sounds like everybody got some great stuff. I was excited. My family actually stuck to our lists this year and I was very practicle with them. We got towels, laundry soaps, washcloths, food, diapers all the stuff we use through the year. I did get 2 new fuzzy blankets and some slippers too. They really spoiled us and it is all stuff we can actually use this time :)
