I like it as long as it sticks around and I can "attempt" to ski, ice skate, etc. But when it melts and turns to slush no thanks.

The closer we get to spring (March 21st.), the less we want to put up with winter weather.

I did not grow up in Michigan. I didn't grow up knowing how to build a snowman, and getting to have snow days off from school. For me, shoveling the snow is like my equivalent to "playing in the snow". I kinda like to shovel, and I ALSO like that I get to add my shoveling minutes into the fitness tracker! Last winter (when we actually HAD snow to speak of) I would go over and shovel the neighbors walk (she was ill). I told her not to worry about it, I was adding up my fitness minutes. This year I have a puppy who loves the snow, so I shovel her some paths in the backyard, even, just to spend time out there with her....plus, kicking the soccer ball...she likes that, too. I still haven't built a proper snowman.

Well, I must say, as winters go, this one has been unusually warm in Michigan. And it looks as if my snowplowing bill for the year will be a phenomenal $108. I ain't mad.

Hate it.. It is very cold, but makes up for that by being dangerous, and wet..lol

I loved it as a child, but haven't in years.

No not really so much. But then again I was born and raised in south Texas and lived some in KS. I just moved to Michigan in July and so far I am loving this winter.

As a child, I LOVED sledding, skating, skiing, snowball fights, snowman making.....
As a child....it's all fun.

As an adult....it's shoveling, slipping, driving on icy roads etc.
I don't have time to do the fun stuff.
As an adult I LOVE winter.....but more from inside looking out at the sun shining on the new snow. Cup of coffee in hand...in front of a fire.

Winter used to be my favorite season - but the older I get the more I hate the cold. I love the snow - wish I could play it in.

I love the snow! I strongly dislike the cold, brown grass though. I don't like the thaw when the backyard turns muddy.

I do love the sun too! I've been known to sit on my deck, face up to the sun in Feb. just to get some sun.

Usually love it. I need "some" snow to make it look pretty and tolerate the cold. But when its just cold, cold cold and no snow. I don't like it - to gray and brown for me.

Each year I find it harder to tolerate the cold. I don't mind the snow unless it makes the driving hazardous. But I stay here because of my friends and family here. I also have all my doctors here, and since I have incurable cancer, I do not want to start all over with medical care again.

My name is Shari; I have been a Sparker since July 2006, I am now in hospice care for metastatic breast cancer, but I'm not letting cancer stop me from Sparking!

Depends. I love how it sounds outside after a heavy snow but am not real crazy about the mud that comes with the thaw or the ugly brown snow.
Driving in it doesn't bother me so much since I've had my trusty Jeep for 12 years - the other people are an issue, though. Just because you have 4wd doesn't make you invincible.
I've been here for 54 of my 54 years so guess I'll stick it out.

I would say that I fall somewhere in the middle. :) I love it in early winter and slowly begin to dislike it shortly after Christmas. Once we get the January thaw I being to really despise its return and after that I morph into a state of total loathing of the snow. If it could stay off of the roads and my driveway I wouldn't care if it was there or not.
