Do you wear contacts? Some contact lenses will cause halos around the lights. Just a thought.....

I'm not having this problem, but I did a search on Bing.com and found several sites. I checked out wrongdiagnosis.com and also webmd.com. There were several possibilities mentioned... you've ruled out a couple of them. Vitamin A and Zinc deficiencies were mentioned... as well as diabetes. Have you seen an opthamologist or did you go to your internist? A specialist might be able to help you narrow it down better.
Good luck and please check into this further... your eyesight is so very important and checking into this problem is not something to be put off.

Do you wear glasses? I do and having an anti-glare coating helps alot.

Have you tried google-ing your question? I bet you'd get a lot of responses.

I was just reading something on that but can't remember what the explanation was...sorry.

So sorry about that....I would get to a doctor...probably an opthamologist. IT may be nothing, but why take the chance. Get it checked out.....please!!

It sounds like you have night blindness. It is very annoying and I havent a clue how it can be fixed.

Is anyone else out there having difficulty with seeing halos aorund lights? Usually it's around street lights, traffic lights and the lights that I work under in the store where I work. I am trying to find out what causes it and how I can remedy the situation. It is becoming very annoying! I just had my eyes examined and no signs of cataract, glaucoma, or macular degeneration were found. Any thoughts? ideas? Suggestions? Any help will be welcome since this is starting to interefere with driving at night- when I have to be at work. Thank You so much! emoticon
