This week your challenge is to volunteer. It may be as big or as little as you make it. It could be doing something for an older neighbor, or volunteering at a soup kitchen or charity.
I'll be spending Friday and early Saturday at our area's American Cancer Society's Relay For Life. This week I'll be making healthy vegetable soup and pumpkin muffins to sell at our tent. (All profits go to the American Cancer Society.) I'll also be taking a 3 hour shift selling the food we're making, and I'll be walking anywhere from 4 to 6 - 1/2 hour shifts around the park track. Plus I'll be sleeping (what little I'll get) in the tent Friday night.
