September has always seemed like the start of a new year to me, as I get all motivated by the crisp fall air. I'm so excited to make this fall a great one!
Now that summer is over and it's back to reality, I have one goal: Kick the butt of my current plateau, and start dropping pounds again!!
To accomplish that, I have a plan:
* No take-out food!!! I will be planning all of our meals on the weekend, and following through during the week. DH has class 3 nights each week, so I get a lot more control over this than I would otherwise... BWAHAHAHAH!!!!
* Running 3-4 miles 3x per week after work, with a long-ish (5-6 mile) run on the weekends, for at least 50 miles this month. Now that the crazy heat and humidity of summer seem to be gone (I hope, anyway!!), I can work those into my schedule a lot easier. I had a love-hate relationship with early-morning runs this summer, so I'm relieved it's over!
* Back to the gym 3-4 mornings per week, and strength training in the evenings. I need the structure of those extra sweat sessions, as evidenced by my lovely plateau this summer!
