2012 is quickly heading towards the end of the year but since I have been M.I.A. for so long I will add to this post. My goal for the remainder of 2012 is to get back on track and to stay there.... I need to focus and also to learn to be kinder to myself....
I am so done!

For me, it's more about making healthy food choices, and practicing portion control. I like to eat cleanly, no junk, and wherever possible, unprocessed foods.
I sit all day at work, so I set myself little challenges everyday, to get up and walk around, move more and stretch. It's just too easy to forget to do so !!!
Bilbygirl, you are doing great, congrats on dropping 17 kg, that's really amazing.

I set myself the goal of a kilo a week weight loss - so far I'm running behind on that one. I still think that it can be done but even a half would be good. I started my weight loss journey on 8th July 2011 and I have lost 17 kg to date. There were quite a few months there where I yo yoed up and down by 3 kg and could not seem to get back on track. I feel like I'm there again since just before joining SP.
My other goal is to lose the need for the weight. I think I have hidden behind weight - felt hurt, punished myself and wanted to incapacitate myself so it wouldn't happen again. I want to make sure that this weight loss journey goes hand in hand with a changing mental attitude. I think they will emerge together and I'm certainly working on both. By next year I want to be confident that I have entered the world again in some substantial capacity or another - I say to the Universe - "Go on and surprise me!". I feel confident it will.

Thats great Wendy that you have set your goal and your action to achieve it. there are always great hints and tips to pick up to improve and make our journey easier. I wish you every success this year and I know that you have the determination to succeed.
