I find it easier to exercise in the winter, I use dvds and stay inside.
In summer it gets too hot without exercising as well. I find it harder then.

It is hard to get motivated when it is cold... but I find if I make the effort I actually work harder so I can warm up.

I have been very slack due to the cold weather also have 4 massive cold sores on my bottom lip so not feeling happy

Shivering is surely exercise... just wish we could log it. lol

It is hard to get out with little ones hopefully we will have a break that is just long enough to get out an walk/jog...

I'm struggling with the rain more than the cold, although that keeps me limited as well, depending on the wind. I generally get my exercise by walking while pushing the pram - which now has TWO children in it! although one is a wee thing, the combined weight of pram and kids is about 62kg!

I can't take the kids out in the rain/wind, and I can't get a good block of time during the day to work out at the moment...and then I have to clean up the toddler's toys to do that, which is a workout in and of itself. I can't wait to get out walking again!

I had no work out routine until the cold weather!!! Now I shiver ... that's movement isn't it?!!!

Height 163cm = 5 foot 4 inches.
Highest weight 81 kilos = 178.6 lb, Dec 2005.
SP Start Weight 8th July 2006 78 kg = 172 lb
HALF WAY 17th September 71.5 kg = 157.6 lb
June 2007 reached original goal 65 kg = 143 lb
July 2007, 62 kilos = 136.7 lb
December 2008 72 kilos = 158.7 pounds.
December 2009 78 kilos = 172 pounds!!! Going the WRONG way!
December 2010 77 kilos = 170 pounds.

How is the cold and the rain affecting your work out routines?

I am finding I do more Aerobics DVD's in the lounge room (I have discovered Turbo Jam and love it) and less time walking or jogging out doors.

When it is not too wet early hours of the morning, I still try to fit in a walk. My knee's need some down time from all that jumping.
