To me it just re-enforces that we made the right choice. There are a lot of paleo nay-sayers on this site (sparks) but the results speak for themselves - the blood work was fine as was the results of the kidney testing!

You can talk to God all you want and that's great, but the changes happen when you start listening to him.

At the beginning of December, I change my husbands and my lifestyle to Paleo. I was slighty above normal bpi and hubby was (is) morbidly obese. Along with the obesity were some health problems and the medications that went with it for my husband He was on chorlesterol pills, blood pressure meds, water pills, meds for gout and others. Today he went to the specialist for his heart, a regular six month check up. Doctor was so impressed with his six month weight loss (which was really occurred over the last three months) that he took him off the fluid pills, wants to see him again in two months and if he maintains or continues to lose, he will start reducing his meds! Hubby came home so ecstatic and motivated by that good news! He has been seeing this specialist for about six years and this is the first suggestion of reducing meds. He is still obese but I have not had to fight with him to follow this lifestyle and he has lost 21 lbs in about three months

I also have gone down in weight and now around the mid range of normal bpi. I get comments quite often about my weight loss and how good I look. I have always exercised so the only real change in my lifestyle has been going Paleo
