It doesn't feel big right now :)

On the other hand, instead of cheese on my eggs this morning I used salsa and I didn't miss a thing :) Day 3, on track!

Njordgal - that is NOT a small victory. Changing old habits is the hardest part and you are doing it!

My non-scale victory is a small one, and definitely a reflection of "The journey of a thousand miles starts with a single step..."

Day 1 of the Whole30 plan completed successfully. Day 2 is on track :)

Real easy recipe:
12 oz. cooked turkey (original recipe uses chicken) ground in food processor
1 TBSP. Italian Seasoning
1 TBSP. Dried Chives
2 cloves of garlic crushed
3 eggs
1 TBSP. olive oil
Mix everthing together to get a doughy cosistency
Heat oven to 450.
Line a baking sheet or pizza stone with parchment paper. place dough onto parchment and spread into a flat rectangle about 1/4 in. thick. I scored the dough (3X3) before putting in the oven for 30 min. (makes nine small rectangles)
Toppings as you like - You can put sauce or whatever on the crust with 10-15 minutes left to bake.
I don't put anything on it - I let it bake and store the dry pieces. We can then put whatever topping on and put it in the toaster oven or microwave to complete your individual slice of pizza. Great for a protein and veggie snack! My husband will even eat the slice plain.

The original recipe is from the website: http://www.whatrunslori.com/
This is a wonderful paleo website for great recipes! Try it out

Would love that recipe - not a big fan of the cauliflower crust. Thanks

My non-scale victory today was finding a recipe for a pizza dough made out of leftover turkey and eggs!!!!! No wheat, considerably low in calories, and all protein! I've made pizza crust out of cauliflower in the past but this "meatza" dough is a new one for me. My husband even liked it!

I've been very consistent with my resistance training and know it will pay off when my body composition is measured next time. The weight will probably be up a little but that's great with me as long as it's muscle. emoticon

I'm sure you have all had them and I would love to hear about them. Mine today was maybe not what most people would call a victory but it was to me

I was vacuuming out my kitchen cupboards/drawers when I opened the bottom drawer - there sat my toaster. I really can't remember the last time I pulled it out! It is a real victory to someone who use to eat homemade bread daily! Maybe time to move it downstairs and free up cupboard space

What is your Non-Scale Victory?
