Was able to find in the organic area of Wegman's in Niagara Falls NY area. Checked the organic area of Southern Ontario grocery stores - nobody seems to have heard of it.

Janamp09- my grocery store has an organic section. It was by the oils. (I go to ShopRite here in the north east).

What section of the grocery store did you find it in?

Just bought a bottle today at the grocery store for about $5.99. Seemed like that wasn't an outrageous price, compared to the internet sites you've shared.

Thanks again, All!

I agree. I've been using coconut aminos and feel real good about them. Can't tell any difference.

type with you later. Junebug

If you like soy sauce, you will like this. I can tell very little difference. One thing that interested me was the review given in this link:

Thanks, Birgit! I have heard of the coconut aminos, so I'll give them a shot. I sort of miss my stir fry. Without rice of course. emoticon
Gratefully,

The main concerns with soy is that it's estrogenic and, unless otherwise stated, probably made from GMO soy.
If you want to try an alternative to soy (Bragg's) you might want to try coconut aminos. They are more expensive so I reserve them for special occasions and use seasalt and garlic with herbs the rest of the time.
Here is the brand I've tried:

nut_aminos.html

I like it a little better than Braggs.

Hi Everyone,
I've been loving the paleo lifestyle for about a month, even through all the holiday carb-age, but I do have one question. What is wrong with or can I use Bragg's Liquid Aminos? I know soy sauce is out, tamari is an option, but I wondered about Bragg's. Cannot find an answer on the Whole 30 page or in Robb Wolf's book and Mark Sisson talks about coconut aminos....

Any help would be really appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Fran
