Hi there and welcome! Foods allowed: think of any foods that hunter/gatherers would be able to secure- fresh meats, fruits, veggies (not potatoes or yams), seeds and nuts. Not allowed (but we do cheat on occasion): dairy and all grains. Why?- cavemen did not try to milk wild beasts and grains were not part of our diet until the agricultural revolution. Tea, coffee and alcohol are allowed with discretion. Google Paleo diet and you find oodles of wonderful sites...MJ
