Eat clean and make sure you are getting enough calories.

I am not eating enough and it's getting really hard to get back up where I should be. According to SP, I should be consuming 1430 as my low and last night I got to 1273. According to a calculator on a running website, I should be consuming closer to 2000 calories. I just got a scale (The Biggest Loser) and it states I should be consuming 2135 a day to maintain my current weight.

I was at 106 last summer, but over the winter it crept up to 110. I'm at 108.4 now, but have been for the last two weeks.. where I *have* attempted to consume 200 more calories than SP recommends as my low. Not having great success! I know I need to consume more, so working hard at that.

It's hard to say without seeing what you eat.

Diet is very individual... what works for one person doesn't necessarily work for someone else. I agree with Laura... focus on eating enough high quality unprocessed food...

Please try not to obsess about what magic thing you should or shouldn't be eating. You should be concerned with the quantity and quality of what you are eating. I don't know enough about your situation to say how many, but you should have an idea of how many calories you should be taking in. After that, it is a matter of making sure that those calories are quality calories - food that is going to fuel your body's needs, not your tastebuds! ;)

Depending on your level of activity, you make actually find that you are not eating enough. It is counter-intuitive, but it often happens that in our weightloss journeys we get so wrapped up about reducing the amount we eat. And then we feel great, and we do more activities, and soon we are not eating enough calories to support the additional activities and actually create a calorie deficit and our weight loss stalls. Time to re-evaluate your caloric needs and your calorie content...

Hope this helps!

Laura

I cannot seem to budge these last 15 pounds. I have cut out my sweets- no more jelly beans or chocolate after lunch or dinner and still no budging. I know I need to write down what I eat, and that might help with insight.
I have seen alot about Casein?? Why drink this at night and will it help with weight loss??
I seem to always be hungry even though I have been getting my lean proteins and my veggies and fruits. I also am eating some carbs.
I am lost on what else to do...help if you can please...
