I loved that book. It so made me laugh. Glad I could jog your memory (no pun intended).
Marathon Women is extremely inspirational. I was lucky enough to get to hear the author speaker this spring at my marathon. She also ran the half. Kathrine Switzer was the first women to run Boston. She is also responsible for getting the women's marathon into the Olympic games. It is a good read.
"I'm a running contradiction....I am a runner and I am lazy. I know that running allows me to enjoy my down time to a greater level. I am a runner first, lazy second. For me, these aren't mutually exclusive terms. Without one, I couldn't enjoy the other."
