Hi, FORESTPAL!

There is nothing wrong with changing / adjusting your goals. We all change and our situations change.

You could always set goals in stages. You could get to one size and see if you're comfortable there. If not, then you can decide your next goal.

I'm trying now to not force myself to a timeline. I'm trying to build consistent healthy habits.Our bodes adjust at their own pace. I've decided, as long as I keep working, I'm getting results, even ones that I can't always see.

Wishing you an incredible journey to size 14! You can do it!

STRONGERLEANER - Your goal of getting to the size you want to be makes me re-think my goal . I just told Frank that I want to get down to size 16 - which would be marvelous for me, to be down from 2x - - but I'd really want size14 if I thought it was possible . . . & why wouldn't it be possible? Size 12 is the one charts say I should be, but at 84 yrs old, it would bring too many wrinkles.

I plan to stay on this diet plan forever, so size 14 is my new goal!

RAWCOOKIE - I think I was on another team with you, but don't recognize your picture. Your planning for the week ahead struck a chord with me. I just made meal choices for next week. I find that I sometimes forget to use stuff before it goes bad, and hope weekly planning helps me avoid that.

I've been poor for about a year, and surprise! It's hard!!! Going on a new diet is expensive to buy stuff I haven't used before. I've been on Paleo several months, but stopped losing more, so I'm switching to Ketogenic - & the keto cookbook requires strange ingredients.

So glad to find this team.

It's seems that even when I'm not motivated with my tracking and eating, I am still motivated to save money!

I have a nice story. A church we have been visiting is trying to fill Care Kits, which are large Ziploc baggies filled with various toiletry necessities. They are stored in a warehouse somewhere then handed out when there are incidents like the hurricanes. My husband and I took 2 of the bags to fill. The list of items are very specific, and I thought we would be able to get everything at Food Lion on Saturday evening. After shopping there we were missing a few items, so we went to CVS. The only thing that was left that I couldn't get was hand towels.

I went to Bed Bath & Beyond to get the towels because it was very close to the CVS and after all the running around I just wanted to be done. I didn't have my coupons with me and I always shop with coupons, but I was tired and really wanted to give the bags back on Sunday morning, so I decided to pay full price (UGH)! When I got to the check out there were some ladies there with coupons, discussing how you can get a refund if you bring back your receipt and the coupons. I mentioned how I didn't have my coupons because I was filling the bags for church and had to turn it in. I got called over to another register and as the clerk was ringing up my item the other cashier brought over a coupon and told her to give me the discount! I don't know if it was the cashier or the other shoppers that gave it to me, but it was really sweet and I really appreciated it.

It shows me that we will still all take care of each other when it comes down to it!

I walked to the gym today in the rain, yesterday planned my menu for 7 days and did grocery shopping. It makes it easier to save money this way.

I have a day off today (Friday) before working the weekend.

I did my main shopping for the week after work yesterday so I'd have today free. I'm glad I did that. I've been doing the bulk of my shopping at Lidl, a low-cost store, and am really pleased with how much I can get there - and lots of great fruit & veg on offer.

I was the lucky recipient of some new-to-me clothes today - a friend was having a turn-out and I came home with two sweaters, a shirt, and a t-shirt - all very nice! I'm very grateful.

Good morning everyone. Well, there is some good news. I found out that the guy I really like is going to be ok. It was really stressful yesterday though. On the bright side though, I was so worried about him that I stayed close to my computer. I may not have gotten much exercise, but I was not able to stress eat either. (Yes, I am one of those stress eaters.) Today is going to be a better day. It is only early, but I already know that it is going to be better.

Hi! It has been a blustery night, which means the washing is almost dry! The sun is shining & I have a day off work. I have not been able to do a lot today. A few days ago, my wrist started to hurt. I have a hard time putting any weight on my wrist. Plus, I have stated seeing, well messaging a guy, who lives a country away from me. Literally. Nova Scotia, where I live is in the south-western part of Canada. He lives in Texas, in the USA. This morning, I found out that he had a mild heart attack. He is home now, and resting, but here I sit, next to the computer, waiting for him to message me that he is still ok, whenever he wakes up.

Hi Sherri!

I worked this morning today, then came home and did a workout (with a YouTube video), had a shower and washed my hair, then got some laundry out on the line in the strong wind we have here today - should dry quickly!!! Now I've just made myself a cup of tea and am going to read for a bit.

Today my lack of funds helped me to just have a cup of tea when I was out at work (I support adults with learning disability) - we went to a cafe for morning coffee, I could only afford tea and couldn't afford anything to eat. So although I enjoyed every mouthful of pain au chocolat I watched her eat, I was glad, really, that I couldn't afford anything! I had my packed lunch when we got back home.

I went for a walk Sunday after church and spent $20.00 Friday for 7 days groceries.

I have chronic kidney disease and low blood pressure & blood clots in both lungs for 3 years..I am 54 years old. I am on the Fall Challenge ,Firecrackers Team,on P.S.T. I have passed my 5% weight loss goal.My exercise plan is 2400 minutes a month.I do walking, ride the bike at the gym 65 minutes, 3 times a week & go ice skating for 90 minutes 2 times a week for people over 50. Today I had to top up all my toiletries: shower gel, shampoo, body lotion, moisturiser - and found some good bargains in the local Boots store. Very happy with what I got for my money.

Today I had a 'win' by bringing home left-over food from a bring-and-share lunch! I had a nice bag of home-grown watercress, some cherry tomatoes, and a package of cheese which has a December use-by date! Those things will be very useful - thank you! I did not accept the left-over bread, crisps, cake, coleslaw, salted nuts and other snacky things.

Hi!

Today I did go and buy some 'reduced price' coffee. That cup of coffee is a cheap way of feeling nurtured (a bag of ground coffee is cheaper than ONE cup in Costa etc!) Knowing I can make myself a really nice cup of coffee at home helps me to not spend money on coffee when I'm out.

I've started the day right with a lentil & veg soup in the slow-cooker. I used up what I had in the fridge - half a leek, 1 mushroom (!), a quarter of a green pepper, two tiny carrots, one potato, garlic, lentils, a few leaves of kale - threw in the spices, salt & water - it'll be a nourishing, tasty meal for me today.

This was great because I made the soup without having to and BUY anything else (the recipe called for chopped tomatoes, zucchini and squash - but I figured I could substitute leek, carrot and potato).
