Apologies, however I am totally new to LinkedIn myself. I would imagine that such a feature would be standard operating procedure though. I'm pretty sure I've seen others on the team who use LinkedIn...hoping they may come to the rescue...!

This was interesting, and so were the other links that the article had! I have debated about yet another social networking site adding value versus complications to my life, but I did just discover that no one else on Linkedin shares my name! I have a question though, and maybe you can answer it... Can you start a Linkedin profile and then make it private until you are ready to go public??

LinkedIn: A Job Seeker’s Best Friend

"With more than 135 million members, LinkedIn is the world’s largest professional network. Increasingly, employers are using LinkedIn as a source to find good talent. With that kind of reach and influence it makes plenty of sense to join if you’re job-hunting – or even if you aren’t.
What if you’ve joined LinkedIn and you haven’t made any useful contacts? The key is to use LinkedIneffectively to make it work for you. Take time and care to build informal relationships through LinkedIn networks. If you’re actively seeking work, it’s especially important to ‘show up’ via LinkedIn the right way."

Check out the details and see if you can cook up some promising leads via LinkedIn!
