oh, and of course, you are right on: barter is a wonderful way to get what you want or need! in fact, when i was a designer i used to do it all the time--it was my favorite way to operate and it doesn't require sales tax as far as i know!

i work hard to waste less... i especially hate throwing away food, so i am more vigilant about using food before it can go bad--even if that means cooking and then freezing. i know that's ordinary but i didn't do it before. also, as more tv programming is now available over the internet, i am going to be getting rid of cable--that's save me $70/month! the biggest tip is to evaluate and re-evaluate where your money goes. nothing is static these days.
