the unlimited foods just make me hungrier. a good workout works best for me.

I like and have used these two strategies mentioned:

"Drink lots of water—including two glasses before lunch and two glasses before dinner. Mild dehydration mimics the sensation of hunger, and drinking water prior to a meal starts to fill you up before you take your first bite of food so you’ll eat less.

Eat plenty of "Unlimited Foods" throughout the day. These foods contain few or no calories, which is why you can eat as much as you want of them. Make sure you have a variety on hand at all times. This will prevent you from reaching for something less healthy when hunger strikes. Snacking on these foods will also keep you from feeling deprived while you’re saving on calories for a party that night."

LOL!!! I wish clementines were available. Those would be good too and they keep longer. Fruit may be the answer!

For Halloween? We don't get many trick-or-treaters, so it's apples all the way!

I'm at a loss this year. Can't go out for dinner because the dogs will destroy the house. Usually our weather is horrible, but if it's not, we're going to spend Sunday with family in the mountains where there's no trick or treating.

I really don't want to have all that junk in the house, much less support the companies that produce it. If I buy organic, then we'll eat that too! Hiding out is my best solution unfortunately.

We're fast approaching that "certain" time of year again...! Treacherous waters ahead!

Merry ThanksGive-o-ween!

In my family we have scads of birthdays and anniversaries peppered into this season as well.

So how are we all going to pull through this season without giving ourselves the *ahem* "GIFT" of extra pounds?!?!
