Thanks for the post. You found some good one!

Remember, nobody can go back to the very beginning and make a brand new start, but anyone can start here and make a brand new end.

There's a difference between interest and commitment. When you're interested in doing something, you do it only when it's convenient. When you're committed to something, you accept no excuses; only results."

Okay, my net-meanderings have turned up too many useful, interesting nuggets to post separately so I'm just going to toss 'em out for you to see what might be of use.

Hope you enjoy! ...Don

I always get annoyed by comments about eating healthy costing too much so this one caught my eye:

StoryCorps: Inspirational stories from around the country

This was mentioned by Kim Komando and I know I've greatly enjoyed hearing some of these featured on NPR over the years.

"Before the advent of movable-type printing, there were few books. These were written and copied by hand, which made them expensive. The everyday person had to pass on information via other methods.
This usually took the form of oral storytelling. Stories were used for entertainment, instruction or moral guidance. A single story could be passed on for generations.
Of course, now we don't need an oral tradition. Books are plentiful, computers have word processors, and Internet blogs are free. However, people still enjoy hearing stories.
That is the basis for Story Corps. This group travels the country, recording people's stories. The aim is preservation and presentation. Over 50,000 recordings have been made since 2003.
These stories are often touching and uplifting. They can also feature interesting bits of history. And you can submit your own stories."

There's more than one way to cut a calorie. Yes, you can look at labels or choose restaurants that list calories on the menu, but there are other not-so-obvious ways to trim calories without a lot of thought or effort. Here are six that work surprisingly well:
