I read this article, this morning and wondered if you would post it or not. You never let us down and keep everyone informed! Way to go.

Will have to check it out more thoroughly later today.

Still waiting to hear back on the interviews...I know, patience!

Everything happens for a reason!

Find local hikes

Fall is finally here, and the weekend is right around the corner. Sounds like the perfect time to take a hike!

There are plenty of great places to hike in Phoenix, where I live. But, of course, I hike, so I know about them.

Maybe you've just started hiking. You might want some advice. You want the hike that's right for you.

MapMyHike is a great site for information on local trails. Start by searching for trails. You can sort by trail length, rating and more!

When you find one you like, click it. You'll get a map plotting the trail. Download the trail to your GPS unit. Or, open it in Google Earth. Paying members can also print it.

Now, MapMyHike is great for finding hiking trails. But it is even better after you've completed your hike.

You can upload a map of your hike. Then, find the hike's length and how many calories you burned. You can also manage your workout history and run reports.

This site is great for hikers. It will inspire you to get off the couch.

There are plenty of great free features at MapMyHike. A paid membership will give you even more.

Looks like a handy resource! No $$$ needed, just one's two feet! :-)
