I honestly can't imagine trying to find a job in this market. With the weeks of unemployment waning, I decided not to go back to a job that I could just get let go from again. I'm going to work independently for myself. Nervous, a little scared, but excited. I hope to be fully in flight by the end of October (aka the end of the unemployment checks!) The economy might be leveling, but it isn't really recovering. Thank goodness for others that unemployment extensions are possible.

On the bright side (infamous) Elkhart County dropped from 19% to 16% this month. Indiana government is offering all sorts of breaks and waivers for businesses opening in Elkhart County in order to get us off such high rates.

We have a new electric car plant opening up, several of our RV plants are starting to hire people back slowly. Not nearly able to get everyone here back to work but it's a small start.
