We buy meat only on sale and freeze to use later. Aldi's in just down the road from us, low prices, bag your own stuff and .25 cart rental. Plan meals for the week around what I have purchased in bulk while on sale. Generally my grocery bills are $25-$30 dollars a week for the 3 of us except when there is specials on meat and then I add $25 approx one time a month. For the 4th, there were 5 of us and we each had 12oz steak, fresh fruit & veggies & dip and dessert for under $20 total. (I inquired at the local grocery if they had any meat that was marked down and they brought some out for me they had just packaged up!)

Shrink your bills down to size

Here's a quick piece of financial advice: One of the best ways to save money is to eliminate recurring expenses.

Gym memberships and magazine subscriptions don't seem terribly expensive. But, over time, the costs add up.

It is easy to forego a gym membership or subscription. But there are certain things you probably can't live without. You probably won't give up credit cards, cell phones or gas anytime soon!

You can cut these recurring expenses without a lot of fuss, though. BillShrink's handy tools make it a snap!

Start by answering BillShrink's questions. I recommend pulling your recent bills to answer the questions more accurately.

BillShrink will provide you with ways to lower your bills. You can find cheaper gas or a less expensive phone plan. It will even help you find inexpensive gas in your area.

To get started, just select the tool you'd like to use. When you're done, BillShrink will provide access to the other tools.
