Several years ago, I worked for a vocational school that offers online courses. If you're looking to switch to a new field, you might find their courses interesting - www.alliedschools.com .

While angling for that new job, another option is to broaden one's education. The internet brings a number of choices right into the convenience of one's home.

If others are aware of additional online learning opportunities, please add your 2 cents and make this a useful thread for all!

...from Kim Komando (www.komando.com):

GO ONLINE TO IMPROVE YOUR EDUCATION
Many Americans are thinking about going back to school. After all, it seems like the perfect time to beef up your skills. Nothing will do as much to improve your employment outlook.
But, maybe you don't have fond memories of school. Or, maybe you need help deciding what to study. In that case, hit the Web! More and more schools are putting free lectures online. They won't count toward a degree. But they can help you find a major that matches your interests!
I have several sites that will help you find online courses. First, stop by the OpenCourseWare Consortium.

It has links to universities around the world that feature online lectures. Next, visit Academic Earth for classes from some of America's most prestigious schools.

Or, visit my site for other online learning options:
