I'm an ultimate morning person. I get up and 3 am. I jog for my walk/jog at about 6:30 am. It's usually nice and cool then. Another thing I do is I try to stay out of the sun as much as possible.

We finally cooled down a bit. We had a nice walk after most of the sun went down yesterday. Today was rest day for me, but tomorrow morning we are headed to the ranch. I will work out with my horse.

When it's as hot as it's been, I either exercise early or in the evening - or move to a location that's cooler like near the beach or higher elevation but that's not always possible so most of the time it's 'early or late' but not in the middle.
I think it's supposed to cool off this week around here - hope it's cooler for you wherever you are, too!

I try to get most of my walking in during the cooler parts of the day. I run more on the treadmill at the gym than I do outdoors now. The biggest problem is the heat really interferes with my sleep -- I've been fatigued for weeks!
I alway get up very early, so all my exercises are early in the morning. The heat drains me, but I have to keep moving.
I work out before and after the temps get too hot. Before 11 am and after 7:30.
Unfortunately, the heat has stolen my get up and go. I have been lazy, sedentary- not my usual style....... and my husband and I are both cranky and tired of the heat.
Not good, but the truth!

I had workers at my house this past week and was without the comforts of my house since they pretty much were in most of the rooms at one point..I got out my pedometer & began walking about along with many bottled waters and paced myself. I got in my fitness sat in the shade it was 103 ....
Did you workout indoors today to avoid the big temps?
How are you managing your fitness schedule on these extremely hot days?
