I try to get my walk in the last 45 minutes of day light, as well as get 30 minutes or so on my treadmill. My plants are really suffering, too hot for me to go out and pet them, hope they understand. Really been hot here the past 3 days 100 and I am sure today is no different

Ugh 104 here in the foothills. I do whatever needs doing early and late. Today I swam much earlier than usual to avoid being out in the hottest time of day. Would love to be on the coast this week!!!!!!
I'm another one located where the "heat wave" really isn't so bad. Our highest expected this week is 90F (mmmmm, comfy!) Even when it does hit 100F - maybe 4 days total out of the year - that tends to bring in the cool air from the ocean past the hills within a day or two. Sometimes I actually wish it stayed hot longer, except for how many people would melt and complain.

If possible, I try to 'escape' to someplace cooler [like this week, we are in the high sierras] but obviously that's not always possible or practical so I tend to go out early for exercise and stay in the A/C during the day, topping everything off with a dog walk in the evenings.

its going to be about 100 this week and i try to do a lot before it gets so hot.. planning ahead really helps..

When I was younger I loved the heat. Today it really slows me down. I don't know why. When it gets really hot I have to do things really early. Then I spend the day in the air conditioning and pray the electricity stays on.
This week will be a scorcher so be sure to bring extra water, wear a hat & sunglasses..I tend to go before the heat or when it cools down to exercise..How about you? Do you choose your time wisely during a heat wave to exercise? Or stay home turn on the A/C & exercise with a video?
