I agree with TREEBW. I will say though that I do like the online support that comes with sites like this one. So many people in real life don't really have the same goals, then they fizzle, and aren't supportive while you're still trying to achieve your goal.
So it's kind of nice to meet a bunch of people with common/similar goals that are into motivating one another! Go sparkpeople!!!

I wished I had a walking buddy. I had one but she fizzled out. The good thing I have my dog. So I keep walking always makes it fun when you have someone to do things with.!

I prefer having a walking buddy but it's not always easy to find people who are available - I depend on DH sometimes but I'm thrilled that I've discovered a bazillion hikes led each week by the Irvine Ranch Conservancy in my local area. I've now become a Trail Guide volunteer and plan to get additional training to become a docent - being involved with the group makes me more likely to go and pushes me to do more - faster, further, longer, etc.

I have a walking buddy 3 of my 4 walk days. I like having the one day a week that I do intervals to myself. I also vary my times at Curves so that I don't get in with the same people all the time. If I have to go when the talkers are there, I usually wear my earphones and listen to my IPod to keep my workout on track.

I haven't actually considered one. I like the peace of focusing so completely on me and do a pretty decent job of pushing myself. I could see buddying with someone to help them - someone who goes to the same gym at the times I go and just wants someone there that they "know". But I wouldn't do more or less because of having that, so a buddy would have to be someone who could get right to work and not feel like I have to tell them what to do.

I would love a buddy that was as dedicated as I am and not a poo-pooer. If someone is negative it talks me right out of working out. I do best alone I think. Well with my dogs, so not alone.

My daughter is my yoga and pilates buddy once a week, but mostly I go it alone.

Agree with TREEBW, I would like to have an exercise buddy for once-twice a month. Otherwise I like to focus and be out of breath from exercising (not chatting). And yes, it's a great time to just think and be alone away from this busy and demanding life.

I think it would be nice to have a buddy once per week or something, but otherwise I like to use the time to just think and be.

Have you considered buddy support in your exercise?
Is it hard to find a exercise buddy? Or no I prefer going alone...
