It woke me up and we are probably about 60 miles south west of Napa! Very sorry to see the injuries and damage, and we are no longer grumbling about the earthquake retrofit work we were required to do on our whole house due to a kitchen addition.

Stay safe!

We felt it alright! Woke us from a sleep in the dead of night!!!

We are approximately 20 - 25 miles as the crow flies and 35 - 40 miles via roadways from the epicenter of this morning's earthquake. We sensed it was a significant quake from the get go. The shaking lingered and the house and its contents were making a lot of noise. Some items toppled over; but, thankfully, no significant damage for us. American Canyon and Napa have not been as fortunate.

Still experiencing low level nausea and dizziness. Experience tells me it is the effect of the aftershocks on my body. I do not consciously feel all of the aftershocks; but, they do affect my body.

A number of major highways have experienced damage significant enough to flatten motorists' car tires. All of the major bridges have apparently held up. Some of the railroad lines remain closed for inspection. There were initially reports that some school districts may ask students to stay home tomorrow. Not sure if any decisions regarding this announced yet or not.

This area is no stranger to significant earthquakes. We will rebound quickly.

We're hanging in there Rory. Thanks for thinking of us!

No, I live in Escondido, CA. So times I feel them, and sometimes I sleep through them, and some times I feel some thing and think maybe it is one, but don't always know for sure if it really was one.

I think that was about the time the dogs where running back and forth from the son's room to our room wanting some one to let them outside. So with two dogs jumping up on the bed and on me, even if it was strong enough to feel down here, I might not have recognized what was happening.

Anyone feel the Beverly Hills quake that struck after midnight? That is the second one this week.. I wonder if it will eventually be a larger magnitude as it was in Northridge. They say it all connects with a branch of fault lines.

I felt it!! I was at work in Woodland Hills & because my desk is on the other side of the elevators, it occasionally vibrates a bit... so I had to look around to see if anyone else felt it too.. Thought I was crazy! And then when I saw someone mimicking shakiness with their hands, I knew it happened. This is the first one I've felt in California. I've only experienced one before in Texas.. go figure.
