I know Amy these breakfast cereals are getting outrageously priced but I do only buy them onsale. I won't pay no more than $2.50 for a box so everytime they run 2 for $5 I pick it up and always have it onhand. Plus I just can't get myself to eat an egg everyday because they are high in cholestrol and I don't care much for just the whites and then use the yolk for another use just doesn't work for me but GREAT tip. Something I will consider now and then. Thank you.
I had my rasin bran and 1% milk with orange...I know I get my fiber here but I am low on my protein. So I will have to think about this some more. I am not a fan either on breakfast meats. I do NOT care much for bacon.

Walking down the cereal aisle I've come to realize it honestly is not that healthy of a start to my day plus the price of it has become outrageous. I've also heard several places that breakfast and lunch should be your biggest meals since your body will burn them all day. After dinner, most people sit the rest of the evening which won't help burn that dinner off. While I've found so many new breakfast smoothie ideas on Pinterest (my new addiction) but until we move out of this FEMA trailer and I can dig my blender out of the storage I've really had to become creative.
In the mornings after getting out of the bathroom, I have less then 20 min to be out the door. So while my 2 slices of toast are heating, I take a large egg, add a splash of milk, stir and pop in the microwave for 1 min 20 secs. Make sure you use a large coffee cup and stop it halfway to stir again or your egg will bubble over. Top your toast with 2 tbsp of peanut butter, add a 8oz glass of skim milk and you've just made a full protein breakfast in less then 3 minutes. I add cumin spice to my eggs to give them a little flavor. I tried the salsa egg bake recipe from sparks but it said not to stir and the egg came out more like a boiled egg (I can't stand the dry yolk taste).
It's easier to complain then to compliment. Give yourself a challenge everyday.

sauteed green pepper, onion, little tomato with 2 scrambled eggs over it, served between two light bread slices like a Denver sandwich. I should have toasted the bread and it sure did need that Miracle whip, but the challenge for the weekend is all natural so ate it plain.

I had Oatmeal made with a chopped up pear, cooked in the microwave with soy milk and water and a touch of cinamon. I don't add more fluid but do add some splenda and flax seed after it's cooked.
