I'm not new here, I just haven't posted much. I usually post in the Fargo team area. I have been working at improving my self with SP for just about a year. I "fell off the wagon" after I got married and had some other very emotional things happening in my life. My wife and I both do SP on our phones and the computer. The phones are the biggest thing. God bless the smart phone.
If you want a pretty accurate way to figure out your calories burned you could get a good heart rate monitor (My wife and I both use Polar models) and wear it when you are doing extra activities. Enter your exercise manually and enter the minutes and calories burned from the heart rate monitor.
try entering cleaning or gardening in the tracker. I know there is a entry for heavy cleaning. I believe also for gardening. I think wheather you need to take time for actual aerobics is something only you can determine. Are you elevating your heart rate for an extended time. If you are than I would say no you don't need to try to do something else. You sound pretty active to me.
I am not skilled to understand what GOD has willed what GOD has planned I only know at his right hand stands one who is my SAVIOR NewLibrarian
I am having problems determining my exercise for the day. I do hours of yard work, weed eating, weeding by hand, mowing, trimming hedges, etc. It requires quite a bit of walking, bending, etc. I have no way to figure out how to add this to exercise. Also I clean the barn, removing lots of manure, put down new bedding, clean water tanks. Can we count any of this or do I need to take out time to do aerobic exercises. Can someone suggest how to handle this?
