I like the new iPhone app, even though I had to pay for it.
I like being able to spin the wheel and get easy access to other links on the board to earn points because I don't necessarily turn on my computer every day.
But....there is room for improvement. I am using the diabetes plan, and when I try to edit snack 2 in the app, it deletes it. I have to go to the mobile site to edit or add to that meal only. The others appear to work.
Also, it would really be great if those of us tracking steps could do so in the app without having to go to the mobile site to enter them.
And while it's great that they added the ability to spin the wheel for points in the app, it does not allow access to spin for your bonus spin if you earn more than 25 points, So to do that, you still need to go to the site.
I also downloaded the "SparkAmerica" iPhone app, which I like because it has access to the start page features, such as tracking fitness, the goal board, and also access to spin the wheel for points.
I did not download the new iPad app because the reviews were terrible, and also because I would have to pay for it as well. I think if I've already paid the $3.99 for the phone app, I really shouldn't have to pay for the separate iPad app too.
Also, does anyone from SparkPeople who work on the apps ever look at this forum? I am just wondering because some of these issues were mentioned before in the free app.
How is anyone else's experience?
