They added the decimal point for new foods with the update just released in the App store! I'm really happy to have it back although I'm having some issues with bugs with this release. I will report that under the bugs section.

That has been a problem since the app was updated several months ago. I know I reported it back then but there hasn't been a new update in quite a while. We used to have the decimal point when entering a new food or updating our weight until iOS 4 was released. They fixed the weight issue with the last release but the issue with entering a new food. So if a new food needs something entered with a decimal point, I wait until I get home to enter it on my desktop. I hope they fix this in the next release.

I get the dials when I am tracking my food, but when I have to enter a food manually it only gives me the keypad so I can't enter decimals or fractions. emoticon

there are fractions. Change the whole number dial to 0. Then change the fraction dial to 1/2

Sorry, Just re-read your post. mine is as dials. I don't know about the keypad version

I tried to add a food last night using my iPhone but one of the nutritional elements was .5

the app only pops up a number pad, but no decimal. Is this fixable?

Thanks
Debra
