Oh, and Freakonomics! The books are a great read as well.

Exercise should be about rewarding yourself with strength and endorphins, not punishing yourself for what you have eaten.

For health & fitness, Fat2fit Radio
Health care/ethics/philosophy, White Coat Black Art
For amusement, The Art of Persuasion
(Last 2 are CBC radio, the first is NPR).
Also Inbetween Swims (whitewater kayaking)--great storytelling!

Today in iPhone is one I listen too frequently...

"When Jesus is all we have, we realize he's all we need.
...everyone deserted me...But the Lord stood at my side and gave me strength."

Jillian Micheal used to have one on Sundays on some radio station. But she stopped in July, too busy for the time being. She has some great ideas and very opinionated.

I love, love, love This American Life, the free podcast of the NPR show. I also like Wait, Wait, Don't Tell Me, the NPR new quiz, which is quite funny as well. I've gone through a few health and fitness ones, but nothing I've stayed with for more than one or two episodes.

...it varies with the day or time of day. The ones I am currently listening to are all craft (spin&knit) related, and time spent listening to them is when I am actively working (gardening/moving boxes/carrying stuff up&down stairs)....this could give me anywhere from 20 minutes to as much as an hour and a half depending on which one I choose
