I haven't decided what to do tomorrow. I need to do more land exercises-cardio machines and weights or just walking. It was nice enough this morning to walk but I had to get 3 kids out of bed so we could get to church. The gym closest to the house does not have a Monday class so I need to look online to see if the other gym does and who the instructor is. Decisions decisions!

Glad you enjoyed the new instructor.
I did something stupid yesterday while out in the yard and took a tumble---quite sore and hoping a hot shower will help today---sure going to need the water tomorrow---if nothing else just to relax in the water---I will try out the exercises but if they hurt, I will have to modify. I am trying to keep moving as doing nothing will make it worse.
Have a good last full day of summer!

Good morning. I got to water aerobics this morning-my first Saturday class of any kind in a long time! I had never seen this instructor before and he was really good. Very friendly and did a very fast paced dance style class. Wow, what a workout!! Now it's time for lunch.

Sorry, not much computer time the past few days so just catching up.
Lin, congrats, I think, on dh retiring---hope you are able to enjoy all events without messing up your system. Hope you continue to improve and glad that the laser thing has helped your knee. Never heard of that being used before.
Ouch to that knee issue---good idea to rest it this weekend--wonder if you have developed a fluid pocket behind the knee since you said it bothered you on those activities and the pain is behind it. It might need to be drained if it continues but hopefully the rest does the trick.
I had a good pool workout on Wednesday but mainly just the walking for the past few days---planning on some yard work today and putting out some Fall decor---which means I have to do down into the basement--I think I know where my son put my bins.
Have a good weekend---last one of the summer season---yeah!

Protein is supposed to fill you up more-meat and eggs work best for me as well as veggies like cauliflower, carrots, broccoli, etc. I do have days where I feel hungry all the time so I try to drink more water, but that doesn't always work.

I also had a lot of ear infections as a kid including a horrible one as a senior in high school-had times when it felt like someone shoved and ice pick in there. I now have a slight hearing problem but luckily very few infections. I do know they are very painful so I feel for anyone who gets them. Sometimes a warm hair dryer on a low speed blown toward the ear can help.

Jo-Ann, yeah, I tried the isopropyl alcohol, and I still got the Swimmer's Ear. I had lots of ear infections when I was a kid, so I think it has to do with my ears in particular. ? I did the modified version of Turbo Jam, and my foot is okay, so that is good. Doesn't burn as many calories, though, but at least it is something.

Kerry, I'm glad you got to church in time. My mom is really active in her church.

Oh, I am just dying of hunger. I have been all week. I tried eating more, and I still was dying of hunger. It's not emotional or bored eating or stressed eating. It's actual hunger. I'm trying so hard just to up my water and maybe take some fiber. I think what I'm eating is okay. I'm not even doing all my exercise. Just doesn't make sense. ?

Sorry you've been having knee problems. I know how hard that is just trying to get normal things done. Hope it heals up quickly.

I got in just over an hour in the pool. Thought about staying longer but came home and read the paper before I got a text asking if I had remembered a meeting at church with a couple other ladies. oops They were pretty much finished up by the time I got there but I did manage to find something else for Dorothy to work on. another oops We were working on attendance reports and I was flipping through the membership/Baptism book and discovered it was out of order and we found my granddaughter's name in there twice. She took the books home and I just came home just as the rain began coming down.

Thanks, Sage150. I hope the earplugs help. Do you use a few drops of isopropyl alcohol in your ears right after swimming? It evaporates the water right out of my ears. It works better than anything else I have tried (hydrogen peroxide, etc.)

Well, it's good that you are taking a conservative approach, JoAnn. A little bit of rest might be just what your kneecap needs.

I have good news. I just called and made an appointment to be fitted for custom earplugs so that I can swim without getting Swimmer's Ear. That was my problem this summer. I ended up having to take several courses of antibiotics that were really harsh on my body before I finally could beat it. If I really have to go down to no impact, and I had those customized earplugs, at least I would still be able to swim. Right now I am about to try some workout DVDs since I don't have time to go the pool. I think I can adjust the movements so they are low impact. Wish me luck!

My knee is misbehaving, but not in a usual way. No morning walk for me today. I'm going to ice it and baby it this weekend.

I noticed that it has been a little stiff and sore off and on for a couple of weeks. But walking or putting my weight on it doesn't hurt. I thought something might be a little weak because I haven't been on the exercise bike much this summer (due to schedule conflicts). I did get on the bike earlier this week and didn't feel any discomfort then. (I have had problems in the past with my opposite kneecap, and the bike was recommended for that.)

I've been working to improve my breast stroke kick, so that might be the problem. (I know that some people have knee issues with that particular kick.) It doesn't feel at all uncomfortable while I am doing it, but I wonder if it is aggravating something.

It hurts behind my knee and down into top of calf if I bend to sit or push up to stand or bend to put on jeans or get in/out of car. Getting into and out of bed was "special", as was getting myself up and down stairs.

I iced it this morning and plan to stay off it as much as possible for a day or two to see if that helps. No swim for me tonight and I've already cancelled my swim lesson for tomorrow morning… Sheesh.

Sorry you're feeling badly right now. I do know how fast the weight comes back and it seems to affect the breathing faster each time. Enjoy your husband's retirement dinner and the bbq. My husband will be celebrating his retirement day New Year's Eve.

Sorry I haven't been responding to messages. I think I am getting caught up today reading a lot of posts. I did my 30 mins water jog and 60 mins. aqua exercising this morning but half heartedly. I've been having trouble catching my breath the last 5 or 6 days.

I'm still having laser treatments on my knee. Tues I had an ultrasound down and will learn next week the results. If it shows no injury to the knee, I'll know the torn ligament is all healed. I've got my fingers crossed. Very little pain now in the knee.

With all this inactivity for months, the depression, and not logging my nutrition, I gained back another 10 lbs. I'm having trouble catching my breath trying to do anything. I've gotten back to my full 90 mins in the pool and 30 of that water jogging but last couple of times it was touch and go and I was wiped by the time I got home. In the last 3 days, I've lost 4.2 lbs so I'm hoping I'm on the right track finally. I'm logging my nutrition again. I had kept up the exercise tracking.

Tomorrow is my DH's final day on the job. I am taking him out to dinner and my DD, her husband and son are joining us. If I order smart, I can eat within my guidelines at this particular restaurant. Sat. we have the annual Ball Party to go to for the team my DH is on. We each bring something to BBQ and each couple brings a pot luck dish. I'll have to be really careful there as I won't know what's in everything. I'm also bringing a Congrats on Your Retirement slab cake as a surprise for my DH. Another reason to be careful on the first course. I'll only have to watch for too many cals, too much fat, too many carbs, and too much sodium - a breeze, ya right! Next weekend we have an annual military association reunion and my DH wants to go a day early which means about 2 and half days of restaurant foods. That's gonna be a tough one! I want to lose this gained weight and get back to losing again beyond the 30 lbs. I've put back on this past year, and be able to breath easier again. I sound like a steam engine whenever I try to exert any energy - just bending over to put on a slipper, drying off in the shower, washing my hair, well you get the picture.

Did aqua this morning. There was only one thing that bothered me which was jumping up and down on the right leg while moving the left so I just jogged in place then. Good class otherwise.

I still have 3 hard red spots on my chest where something bit me yesterday. I have no idea what it was-I was out talking to the neighbor and suddenly noticed an itching. It's at least no as hot as it was last night.

They did get the yard done-they were working on it and the neighbor's when I got home from aqua. I have missed aqua today and tonight is dinner at church plus in between I have a massage so.... I am still feeling half asleep-just can't seem to wake up. I seriously need a workout buddy to get me up and out early like I used to!

Dinner turned out nicely and the weather cooperated and cooled down after rain in the morning so I did not have to turn on the ac yesterday. Glad I have water aerobics today as I had to go down to the basement 3x yesterday and my legs complained last night about that. The pool will help.
Did they get the yard done?

I need to get changed and head out to the gym for aqua and then remember to stop at the Clothes Closet to drop off several bags of donations in the form of clothes and books. It is cloudy and dark here this morning so I don't know if the guys will get the yard done before it rains. Who knows with these guys maybe they do it in the rain so long as it's not lightning. Guess I'll find out.

Neither Larry nor I can eat bell peppers whatever their color. Jalapenos we can eat but not bell. Jalapeno peppers have the ingredient that stops acid reflux/heartburn which seems strange but that's the way it goes.

I went into the gym and did the elliptical for 10 minutes, leg press, back machine, and treadmill for 14 min. I am so out of shape it's pitiful. Gotta start getting more of those machines in to build up strength and endurance.

I would also love for my husband to get his knees done before the end of the year since I have met my deductible and working on the family now. At the cost of the surgery we would hit it soon and next year he will be retired so I'm not sure the insurance is exactly the same as current employees. He is refusing to think about it right now.

Sage, I would enjoy that recipe but my dh would not touch it---he will only eat green peppers in chili---a strange bird---thanks for the link, I will check on there to see if they have any ideas there.
Kerry, I know he must be in pain because he has been putting it off for quite a while---and I noticed that he is still limping when he is walking so I guess he still needs the cane---sigh--I want him to get it done while we have met the deductibles, too. And I really enjoyed that movie---esp. all the issues the pastor had with cars--LOL
Water aerobics tonight---glad for it as my legs have been protesting the workout on Saturday---I got in almost 7 miles that day.

LECATES, enjoy the movie. I've seen it twice. My husband's knees both crack very loudly but he doesn't want to do the replacements having seen me go through it twice. I know one time he is going to crack them when he stands up and he will go down screaming. Glad you got the yard done and took a break while doing it. I had to do that sometimes but this year I had to hire it done.

Today was church and Sunday School, lunch, take grandson home, then after cleaning up a bit in the kitchen I picked granddaughter up from her sleepover and took her home before going back to church to count money. Right now our daughter is cooking dinner for us and her new boyfriend. Hope it turns out well though I wish she could find a boyfriend who didn't have a bad ex and more or less needs rescuing from something.

Better to replace it when it is still easier to do the physical therapy than to wait when he is older. That is, if he really could use it now.

Lecates, sorry I didn't reply to your turkey/chicken comment sooner. One of the things I am about to cook this week or next may be with ground beef from my freezer or fresh ground turkey on sale, depending what I have on hand. Stuffed peppers. Cut off the top of the pepper and remove all the veins and the seeds. I actually use sweet red peppers because they are much more commonly used in my husband's country for cooking and have great flavor. Brown your meat and sauté chopped garlic, onion, tomatoes and green pepper to taste. Mix with brown rice already prepared with beef bouillon. Stuff peppers and top with a little cheese if you want and put it in the oven for 10 minutes. Other people do it differently. Here's a link. http://www.bettycrocker.com/recipes/stuffe

P.S. Also, I make chili with ground turkey and add beef bouillon so it has a beefy flavor.

I can believe it---I had to break it up into 2 segments--needed to come in and rehydrate and cool down after doing the front yard. Beside the grass I also did my long walk today--which is one reason I had to break it up.
I did get my dh out there to use the weed whacker---it hurt his knee but I can't do it all---he is talking seriously about going ahead and getting his knee replaced--he is still using the cane so I imagine he really needs the surgery---it cracked last night when he went to get up and it was really painful and very loud.
Today my church is showing God's Not Dead for our evening service---I have been wanting to see this so it will make a nice ending to the day. Hope everyone has a good day!

It is good exercise and a great calorie burner but I had to give it up this year after a hip replacement in October and another in June this spring. My trainer once told me to start my own yard company because I burned more calories doing that than anything else proven by my Bodybugg.

Lecates - sorry to hear about the shingles. Didn't know you could aggrevate it back in, but don't want it at all.

Hope you get past it to a point that you no longer have to worry about it.

I decided not to go out to Red Hats last night---just felt like relaxing on the couch---figure I need to not stress my body too much so as not to aggrevate the shingles back into my system. Have water aerobics tonight and I will go to that.

Kerry, have you tried the chair exercise video here on Spark? that might work with no shoes on---and quite the work out---adapt it to what you can do, too.
Got to the pool last night--felt so good---the water kind of stung the area where the bumps are, but I think it did them good---they look even better today and no pain in that area this morning---could have been sensitive there because of the capsasin cream I have been using there. Took the last of the horse pills this morning---yeah!

Well, I've missed the aqua class. I have to leave the house at 8:30 to get to class on time because the gym closest to me does not have a Monday class. I really need to do some land exercises today and see what I can manage on my own, I have a bunch of videos here which I can do without having to get socks and shoes on since I am still not supposed to reach down for that and I can't get my ankles crossed over the opposite knee. Hopefully one day.

Sage, do you use ground turkey or ground chicken in any other recipes? someone gave me some and I need to figure out how to use it.
Kerry, hope you get to the pool today. I know I am looking forward to being there tonight.

I have tried making several things with turkey rather than beef and my husband always knows it and after a bite or two refuses to eat it so it's better to use beef and just not make as much.

Sure wish I could have made the pool today but nearly every minute the gym was open I was at church with Sunday School, church (which ran long) then lunch on the way home, read the paper, back to church after a stop with the girls for some school project supplies, got the money counted then waited an hour plus for the youth to get home from Universal Studios. After getting him home I stopped and got a turkey sandwich from a BBQ place for dinner and only ate the turkey. I did share some onion rings with my husband though.

Kerry, have you ever tried making meatloaf with ground turkey instead? Almost like a white meatloaf? I put red pepper, green olives, carrots, celery, and onion in mine. The olives give it a real interesting flavor.

It would have been nice to be able to get in a pool yesterday---it was sooo hot here---and my gd really wanted to go outside to play but we could not do that---humidity level raised the temps to unbearable.
Looking forward to water aerobics tomorrow---my spots are fading quite a bit.

Man, sitting on a stool really cuts off the circulation in my legs. Hope your leg is feeling better today. Most of the pool is shallow-the ends are too shallow and the middle I can put my toes on the floor but it's not quite deep enough for deep water unless I were to wear a belt. I loved the deep water classes we had at the old gym-that pool was built so one corner where the steps were was the most shallow along with an area around there and then gradually got deeper as you went down the lane so different height people could find a place to stand the opposite corner was the deepest area so we used that back quarter for deep water. Those classes ended when the gym changed hands and decided that instructor didn't have the 'right' certification and no one else had an certification in deep water. dumb Just my opinion there. lol I thought about going to the pool this morning but we took my car in to have tires rotated and balanced and the oil changed while we ate breakfast next door to the tire store. Maybe this afternoon after I get the meatloaf into the oven.

Oh, Kerry, that will lead to a fast grave for him---I worry about that with my dh---that is sure what he did for the last 6 months and he has gained weight, too.
Man, I could have used a plunge into a pool last night---sold tickets after school for sports---and it was super hot out there---but at least I was in shade with the ticket booth---but that last hour my shingles area really started to hurt--think capris were kind of rubbing on it---so I pulled them up off of it---but the area was definitely irritated---and sitting on a stool really made my legs ache last night when I tried to sleep. I had to take a shower when I got home just to cool down and not feel so icky.
Kerry, is most of your water aerobics in the shallow end? I definitely prefer deep end exercise---I can do lots of jumping jacks in the deep end and it not hurt my legs or the boobs.

My husband is also retiring on Dec. 31 but he is working until then so he can get the vacation pay for all the hours he has left. That should be a nice paycheck. What I'm going to do with him after that is a huge question because he is likely to want to just sit in front of the tv, sleep and eat.

We had a great aqua class today and I have been able to do more. I did skip the jumping and on the jumping jacks just kept most of my weight on the left leg. Felt pretty good afterwards. I picked my grandson up from school at 2:15 or so and took him to church. We were more than an hour early so we sat across the street at Taco Bell and had a taco before going into church. We sat and waited for everyone else to show up and then the 3 cars headed off to Universal Studios for Rock the Universe. They'll be back Sunday eveing.

Kerry, you need a day off of rest--glad you are done PT---now keep moving
Lynn, the Shingles vaccine is a 50 percent chance of keeping you from getting Shingles---I did not know that until the doctor told me that---but she did recommend that I get it but I have to wait 6 months after my leg is completely healed before I get it----I am lucky that this appears to be a mild case. Hope you get rid of that extra fluid so the heart behaves better.
That new pool sounds lovely! I hope to go back on Monday---no oozing from my bumps and are shrinking---she said I could go back then as long as they were crusted over. I sure missed it this week.

Hi everyone - thought I'd drop in and say hello and let you know I'm still out here. I've been busy with my 6 mth check-ups with my specialists (4 so far) and having whatever tests they ordered beforehand. I also took part in a health study on Ontarians. My torn ligaments in my knee are almost healed - gee, they probably will be before my ultra sound appointment comes up on the 16th to see what I did to the knee. Oh well, it will at least show if the tear is completely healed by then. The last few days I've been able to do my water jogging and aquafit exercises with some enthusiasm compared to when my knee was in so much pain. But my alarm in my pacemaker is telling me that I'm in heart failure again and that explains the shortness of breath and the swelling - not just from the knee after all. When it rains, it pours! I noticed today that the huge drapes of plastic under the ceiling at our Y have been removed from over the pool. I hope this means they are done fixing the roof on that part of the complex. The tape they used to secure the plastic literally tore the paint right off the walls. I know they were going to paint again but boy, they'll have to repair the walls first now. Not that they were in the best of repair after a leaky roof. I wonder how long they'll have to shut down the pools when and if they repaint the walls and ceiling. That won't be nice with no pool. Enough whining about me.

Lecates - take care of that leg. Shingle are a devil of a thing to have. I hope it heals soon.

I recently had a shot to hopefully prevent getting Shingles. It cost about $160 but fortunately for me, my husband's drug plan covered the costs. Sure are going to miss that plan when he retires. He's done work on the 18th of Sept but officially he retires 31 Dec of this year.

Good morning. Glad your leg is feeling better.
I went outside to bring the trash can back up and spent about 45 minutes talking with my neighbor. This was around 9 a.m. and I was sweating like crazy. The humidity was already getting up there. I guess the neighbor on the other side of me has hired the company I use for yard work. They were out there working this morning. I'm guessing next week they will do both our yards at the same time since Tuesday is the normal day for our neighborhood. If they do that then I may get to miss all the noise because it's normally done while I'm at the gym. lol Speaking of the gym, I did not go this morning because my hip/leg is still bothering me. It's not as bad as yesterday but not something I wanted to aggravate by jumping around in the pool which is probably what bothered it yesterday.

Once again I woke up tired. That makes no sense to me unless maybe I do have something like a bladder or kidney infection. Lordy, I don't want to go to the doctor again. Better stock up on cranberry pills and/or juice. This may be 3 days in a row with no exercise if I don't drag myself outside for a short walk (however long I can make it) and/or do a video. I don't know if my husband has any plans-he sometimes just gets up and says "you going with me?".

I slept pretty good but am really ready for bed now and it's not even 9:30 so I guess I'm not getting a real restful night's sleep even if it is 7-8 hours. The gym by my house doesn't' have an aqua class on Monday so I will probably have another day without the pool.

Yeah, I think so, but I'm not sure. The pool has lanes. I'm not sure how deep it is, but it looks shallow all the way down, so maybe no deep end water aerobics for me, but I'll take what I can get. I can always go to a different location to get the deep water if I really want to. I hear there is a class of Aqua Zumba at my gym but at a different location, and I am thinking about trying that. This month is my first month of exercise in several years, so as much as I need to try everything out, I still feel the need to pace myself somewhat. I have aqua shoes which make it easier on my foot, but I cut my toe nails yesterday and painted them blue and cut them too deep in the nail bed. Now it is uncomfortable to wear the shoes in the pool, so I am going barefoot. So far it has been okay, but I can't do the water jogging for very long. Silly me.

I'm glad you (Kerry) got to spend time at church. How was your sleep last night?

Hi. I went to the pool today with husband and did water aerobics while he slam laps. Unfortunately, the outdoor pool at our apartment building will be closing after Labor Day, so only I will be able to go to the gym by myself to work out after that.

I was surprised but the walk actually helped it this morning---and I was less winded this morning---guess all the walking I am doing each day at school is helping---hitting 10000+ most days or close to it. I do wish the pool was open on Monday though. Too bad you missed your chance this morning.

Hope your leg is feeling okay after a walk. The pool would have been great for that. Our pool is big-I think Olympic size but it's not deep enough at the ends-people doing swim turns tend to scrape the bottom. A dumb way to build a pool but that's just my opinion. I didn't realize what time it was when I finally looked at the clock this morning so I missed aqua but we have the 2 grandkids for the weekend and then this morning we went and picked up a friend so we have 3 until after church tomorrow when they all go home.

Wow, that was a lot of people--you must workout in a huge pool.
I could use a pool session---mowed lawn---guess that set my leg back a good deal---but going to walk this morning in the park---hope I don't make it worse---but too lovely to stay indoors and veg---the rest of the weekend will be good for that--hot and humid return with a vengeance tomorrow.

That is a pain about those Y's---hope yours gets opened soon.
Kerry, you do know that it takes at least a year to totally get the anethesia out of your system, esp. when you are not moving all that much. So that could very well be why you feel you have no energy---the cells are releasing that stuff slowly and making you feel draggy----the more oxygen and exercise you get, the faster it gets out of your system.
Sorry not been on---not a lot of computer time---hurts to sit here too long but the pool really helped on Monday and hoping tonight's session works the rest of the kinks out---fluttering really seems to work some of the knots out on Monday as I stayed in the deep end and really worked on things that seemed to work it out. Last night I went and played Polish poker with friends---I even won a couple of hands. School is going well---really enjoying going down to the horticulture class for 3 periods a day---my schedule is really easy so this should be a good year.

Good for you in getting to the pool! I didn't make it in this morning. Maybe I should check the evening schedule and see if there is something. I really have no energy. I did finally get dressed and pulled a few things out of my closet for charity. I need to find some food that can give me some of the energy I'm missing. One of these days I may need to cave in and see the doctor (I'm so tired of 1 or 2 doctor visits every week) and have the pain in my right side back checked.

I'm using the pool at a 3rd Y this week (and maybe next). Y number 2 is closed for maintenance, my Y is still being renovated and there are delays. Instead of mid-Sept., it may not be until Oct.

This Y is harder to get to in traffic from work (I've only been going there on weekends--it is closer to home.) It is also not in the best neighborhood, so I like to leave there before it is too dark. But at least I am getting my swimming and it hasn't been very crowded.

Have a good day everyone.

One day of school this week? I can't imagine. lol Our kids start out even in kindergarten with a full day and at least a 4 day week the first week of school which was last week for us.
I started my day with breakfast and the paper in peace and quiet and then after my daughter helped me get my socks and shoes on I went to physical therapy. I'll be glad when I am once again able to bend over to get my own socks and shoes on!! Anyway, I have two therapy sessions left-one will be this Thursday morning and the last next Thursday morning. They will be with a different therapist. After that I really need to get into a serious gym routine.

That IT band is a real pain! It's also difficult to work out. The therapist rubs and massages it with some lotion-not sure what because it doesn't get warm like Icy Hot or Ben Gay.

I had to really look to see what meal we were talking about. I have noticed a lot of studies lately that are saying that people actually need more sodium than doctors recommend because the lack of sodium is causing other problems with parts not working right. Sodium makes you thirsty so you drink more water (hopefully) and that washes it through the body to all the parts that require sodium to work right. I just never keep track of my intake because I don't salt anything when I cook and never add salt to cooked food especially at restaurants. Okay, I better start working on this bottle of water I have sitting next to me!

Good morning! Had issues with my IT band all weekend---sure hope the pool helps tonight.
Sounds like you all have been busy with grandkids----we were supposed to have mine Friday night but her mom got off early so we didn't get to see her----sure hope we get to see her on Wednesday---she goes to her first day of school on Thursday as a kindergarten student---she only goes one day this week.
Hope everyone feels better today and more mobile---my dh gets his first gel shots in his knees today so I took some time off this morning to go with him---my student doesn't come until tomorrow so it was no problem.

Kerry - if you had eaten your entire dinner when you ate that out, you would have had approx. 2000 mg of sodium so even a portion of the meal would have been quite high. That combined with beans would make me extremely bloated. I hope you didn't have any ill effects when you had more of it for your dinner the night you wrote your note.

Jo Ann - I don't know what's worse - having to get used to a new temporary Y location or like ours, swimming in pools while the metal roof is being repaired - it's like being in a tin can being beaten on by a drum. To top it off, the youngest of the lifeguards try to outdo the construction crew with the radio blaring. I think these lifeguards and the aerobics teachers should get in the water and see just how loud these things are echoing off the water and pretty much at ear level. There have been a few times that they've had to unexpectedly close the pool because of the construction and we've had to leave or we've arrived to use the pool and it's closed for the next several hours and we're out of luck.

I missed my pool time Sat am as my DGS was there for a sleepover and again yesterday because I had a bad night with my Crohn's Sat. night - all night. Hopefully I'll get back into my routine on Tues, my next regular day to go. I'm still not doing my full work out because of my injured knee but I was able to work out last Thurs for an hour and also walk in the water for 15 mins. Once healed I'll work out a lot harder for the hour and I'll do my 1/2 hr. water jog. Looking forward to that.

Ha\ve a good week.

No pool all weekend and tomorrow I have physical therapy the same time as the aqua class. I may just come home after therapy and take a nap if I don't feel more rested than I have all weekend. I'll have to look up what the theralase is.

Lecates - I just happen to have a brochure here someone else wanted to see - the laser treatment I am getting is called Theralase. Their website is www.theralase.com. I'm not too sure how accurate the list of clinics is because they list one in Vancouver, British Columbia USA, lol. They do have pages and pages listing cities they have clinics in though.

The kids didn't wear me out but sure made DH mad when he saw the mess this morning. Of course he didn't see it until after the main culprit had already left at 7:30 this morning. It's sad that he gets so angry over things like that that his granddaughter doesn't want to be around him. I think my main problem is I'm not sleeping well at night-the bed is not comfortable as the mattress is getting old and having two overweight people means it wears out faster and has a high spot in the middle. I am also having problems with a pain, often cramping, in the right side of my back. I had a UTI when I had my surgery and I think it's just dragged on even after a series of antibiotics so now it's messed up the kidney. Not fun and I am so tired of going to the doctor-it's been one or two every week lately. Now I'm trying to drink as much water as possible which means my exercise is getting to and from the bathroom.
