Thanks for the link, will defintely check it out. When I do laps swimming, I do 10 free style, 10 backstroke, 10 flutterboard and then 10 a combination of breaststroke and the above. Makes a kilometer. When I first started out about a year ago could only do 12 and then I would spend the rest of the time in the hot tub.

Hi Have a look at
http://www.swimovate.com/poolmate.html.
I'm very keen to improve my swimming technique - crawl - and am having some coaching. Which stroke do you use?
Today I spent an hour practising and then spent half an hour swimming laps with a friend. She loves being pushed and I love being able to swim slowly but concentrating on technique.

Thanks for responding. I've decided to get a PoolMate, it will count the laps, time them, keep a record to look at later. A pink one is on order - can hardly wait to get it. Will let you know how well it works - not due for delivery until 17th. Val

That's an excellent question. I even have a H20 Ipod playing in my ear at the same time. I have been trying real hard to concentrate on the laps, if I am not sure then I will do another 2 laps.

Today I did 750 meters (22 minutes) couldn't do anymore due to babysitting restraints....I really wish the YMCA would coordinate the adult swim/lap lanes with the day care schedule! Oh well, I work with what I've got!!emoticon

Doesn't look like many people are writing on this challenge anymore but I figure I would join it anyway being a newbie. I just started swimming again last week and have gotten up to 20 laps (1000 yards) per day, 6x per week. Hopefully I will be upping this soon but before I do that I want to focus on swimming continuously (have to get my breathing right first). Right now I'm stopping every few laps to catch my breath. Better than nothing and soon I will be back to continuous laps again. Any tips to get there faster??emoticon

I'm joining this challenge as a newbie swimmer. Right now, I'm working on just swimming 3000 meters a week, which is just under 2 miles, or just 8 pool lengths less than this challenge.

My longer-term goal is to work up to swimming a mile, three times a week, but for right now, this feels just about right.

hey shannon, nice to see you!
take care of those knees, we don't want you to "run into knee troubles"!
swimming may actually do them good cuz it's impact free!
it seems there's no end to obstacles for me lately - after being back to the pool for a week i've dropped out again due to an UTI. i've been sick too much lately, hope i can do something about that. i think i have it under control by now but i don't want to risk anything.

have a good time running - and swimming, hopefully!

Bine,
I am here Barely. I have been guess it running.
I keep wanting to focus on just swimming and then I sign up for another race. After October I am not running for a while. My knees are starting to hurt.
I lost my swim partner so it has been hard for me to motivate myself to hit the pool instead of going for a run.
I will get in the pool one day this week. I promise.
I am doing some challenge however, at the moment I can not remember which one.

Looks like everyone has gotten busy

I'm just starting my swim across the English Channel and I plan to be around for a while. I'm going to try to swim at least twice a week. I'm commuting to work on my bicycle 3 times a week 14 miles roundtrip. I love it. That leaves 4 other days to get the 2 swims in. I'm optimistic. You're an inspiration.

i did another 2500 meters/1.55 miles today, missed one swim last week because my shoulder was still hurting a bit from that paint job i did on my friend's flat. so now i'm at 99.58 miles, whick means i could practically have seen the finish line had i been looking. oh well, the weeks not over yet.

have a good time and swim on!emoticon

Hi Brine and Auburn, thanks for the welcome!

Auburn, what a lucky break! I would LOVE to work at a library!!! I LOVE READING!!!

Brine, I too had trouble with my bust and never ran well. I have always hated it in fact. But, thanks to losing almost 20lbs my bust has gone down about 4" and I can now run without discomfort. I have been this weight before and still kept my C cup, but now I am a vegetarian trying to go vegan the lack of hormones from meat seems to have significantly shrunk my breasts. Lately it has been tough as it is rainy season and I only run outdoors. I am swimming once a week right now, and we will see where that goes. I started off walking with short slow jogs and used the couch to 5K program. It was easy, and I had really been afraid to try--never thought I would ran unless being chased by a bear!

Thanks for stopping by my page. I love browsing SP pages! So interesting and so many good ideas! I am interested to see the new challenges and such--great to keep you motivated--thanks!

Have a great swim!

I agree with Bine! Awesome to see you here, Sid! Keep up the swimming!

Hey Bine girl! Yeah, I was biking a lot. Then I got sick and didn't exercise for over a week. And I have a story for you. I had quit the gym. Really. I had given a written notice 2 weeks ago. My last day was going to be July 15. My mom went back to work (can you believe it? completely rehabilitated! AWESOME) and with the cost of fuel (35 mile round trip from the suburbs, downtown to the pool), in addition to the monthly fee for the gym, I just couldn't ask my hubby to continue paying for all that. We have a few *cough* debts we're trying to get rid of. Mom was splitting the cost of gas with me, and she felt like she had to quit with her work schedule. I don't know if you guys remember, but about 6 months ago I had applied for a job working in our local public library system. Well, 5 days after Mom went back to work, I heard from them and they offered me an interview! Two days after the interview, they offered me a job! It's a part time job leaving me plenty of time to go to the gym, but enough of a pay check to help out with the bills and still let me keep my gym membership. So! I went to the gym Monday, and cancelled my cancelation, yey!
I also swam a mile, and worked out on the elliptical for 50 minutes.

Monday 36 laps, 1800 yards, 1.02 miles

Swim on!!! Yey!

nice to see you here, sid! i just had a look at your spark page and WOW! you have an intense program, and you are almost at your goal!
i guess i would be glad if i could swim 2km weekly if i'd jog 5km 3 times a week as well!
i have been wanting to start jogging for a while now, but somehow i never get around to it. i was always a bad runner and although i know i will have to build up gradually i think i'm afraid of failure.
i also have trouble with my bust sizeemoticon

i swam 5200 meters/3.23 miles this weeks, 3.53 to my 100 mile goal! next week i'll have to look for another pool to go to, the next pool is about 2.5 miles away so i think i can still do that by bike. but summer school break starts tomorrow so i'm afraid it will be crowded with kids. i'll see.

i will be posting a new challenge this week, i think it is time to get some of our "old" team members back to participating so this team doesn't fall asleep. i guess i also need to send aldana an email to straighten out the team goal. something is wrong there!

juanita, thank you so much for the shouts! you are neglecting the pool in favour of your bike!

Hi all,

Looks like you are all a great bunch of swimmers here. I have not been posting as I have not been swimming but finally today I broke the ice and had a great swim.

I know this is for 2miles a week, but my goal is to do 2km a week. I do a lot of other types of exercise, so that is all I have time for. It is a nice change to mix it up. Today I did 2.5 with my Master's Swim Team and I was the slowest after a 6 month break from the pool, but they welcomed me back kindly. It felt great to get wet again!

Sorry to just jump in here, but I thought it was about time I started posting on the team.

Have a great weekend all!

Sid

hey, all you quiet swimmers, i swam 5000 meters/3.1 miles this week, which leaves me 10.05 to my 100 mile goal by july 16. i still feel very heavy in the water, it takes me longer to get into the "flow" and i think i'll be a little sore tomorrow, but i'm getting back to my old form.

how has everyone been doing?

Bine, way to go your self too! getting back in the pool after 2 weeks and already swimming that much!? You're a trooper, know that ;).

As for me, haven't been to the pool yet, but I did go to the gym, been biking and using the elliptical so I can start losing weight again.

How's everyone else been doing?? any vacations planned??

you are truly unbelievable! more than 18 miles on your stationary in 1 hour! if i ride my bike through town i can't do more than 10 miles an hour ... but then this is town traffic too and i have a lame bike.
but i think 18 miles is awesome! your next tri, you'll run them all over!

hey all, just had my first swim after being sick for 2 weeks. managed to do 2500 meters, but i thought i would drown through the first 800 of that!
finished the english channel finally and will try what i can still do about reaching my 100 mile goal by july 16.
i'm starting out at 86.85 miles, which is what i have done for the amazon, english channel and MBC together.
this means i will have to do a little over 13 miles in 5 weeks, i guess it should be doable if i get back into my old shape quickly.
have a great day all, and swim on!emoticon

Here I am, finally! I've missed talking to you guys! Everything has been so hectic around here. Katy came in from Tallahassee the day after we got back from Birmingham. She and I went shopping while she was here. Oh, and she bought her wedding dress! Then there was another taper week for my second tri, and I went across the bay 2 days out of the week to try out the bike course. I've been running around like crazy. But I did it y'all! I managed 2 triathlons in 2 consecutive weekends. Holy cow! And I have to give God the credit. I wasn't sure if I should even attempt the second one. I've really been struggling with hormone fluctuations - silly menopause! - and even with all the training, I wasn't sure I was going to be able to finish. OUCH. It was rough. But wow it felt good to cross that finish line.

Let me back track a bit and tell you about the first one. What a great day that was! The YTri folks in Birmingham make beginners feel like they are something special. I won't go into all the details here, because I plan to blog everything. But I had SO MUCH FUN. Would you believe I was actually called to the podium during the award ceremony for 1st place in Beginner Women Age 50 - 54? (Ok, so what if there were only 2 entered in that category, hehe.) The bad news is that, apparently there was a timing mix up the day of the race. The offical posted time on the website has me second. But that's ok. I was still faster then the open entry for Women 50 - 54. I really wasn't in it to race, anyway. Promise. :o) My splits are as follows:

Juanita Etheridge
bib number: 158
age: 52
gender: F
division place: 2 out of 3
gender place: 76 out of 94
time: 1:15:36
swim: 5:36
t1: 2:52
bike: 42:32
t2: 1:25
run: 23:12

The bike course was really tough. Even though it was only 8.5 miles, it wound up and down through the hills in Mountain Brook. VERY challenging. But I never walked my bike! And I jogged the 2 miles without walking once! Yey!

Last Saturday was a bit harder, hehe. The swim was awesome! OWS in Mobile Bay. That was so cool! I was in the next to the last wave - Cyldedales, Athena (heavier men and women) teams, and fat tires. The water was so shallow for much of the way out into the bay, that a lot of people were actually running in the water. I started to, but when I felt the burn in my quads, I realized I'd need those legs more for the bike and run. It wasn't a fast swim, but it was steady. I did the .3 miles in 14:05. :o) The bike course starts up a steep bluff, away from the bay, and the first 100 yards or so is about a 45 degree incline! Now THAT was difficult. It took me awhile to recover from that start, but after 2 or 3 miles, I was able to breathe again, and even though the rest of the course was over rolling hills, I enjoyed every minute of it! My legs were like jelly afterwards though, and I didn't have much left for the run. I came up with a formula that worked: I ran when the road went down hill and walked when it went up. And I finished! And I didn't come in last! My total time for the course was 2:13:28. If your interested in seeing the splits, go to
http://results.active.com/pages/displayNonGru.jsp?orgID=216352&rsID=64227
and scroll down to the "Athena" group. And I posted pictures on my website:
http://etheridgehaus.com/Grandman/

I was back at the gym today, and managed 2.6 miles on the elliptical, 30 minutes on the stationary bike, and 36 laps, (1.02 miles) in the pool. It felt great!
Well, I guess I've made this post long enough. *grin* More later.

Love you guys!

Hey Nancy! We got home late last night. I kept thinking I was going to get the energy to sit down and describe the event... maybe tomorrow. I did get some photos up on my SP page. Yey! But I need to get these memories documented. It was an awesome day! More tomorrow evening!

HUGS!

Thank you Bine! Be safe on your journey!

We'll be heading out soon. I'll be going to early registration this evening to pick up my packet, and attending 2 short clinics that are being offered for 'first-timers'. Man, I'm excited.

I'll report when I get back, and I plan to have lots of photos!

You guys are the best! What would I do without all this wonderful encouragement?!
God bless... love ya!

Hi gals!

I'm here! Congrats Aldi, on being recognized as a motivator by SP! Hey, we knew you were special all along, didn't we folks? *ear to ear grin* (And thank you so much for pointing this out, Nancy, cuz I sure missed it!)

*singing now with a country twang*: "Aldi's back in the swim of things again!"
WTG girl! You'll be right back in the fast lane before you know it!

I took a couple of days off, more then I intended to actually. I had a scare. I sat next to a friend in church 2 weeks ago, She found out she had the flu the next day. So last Sunday, when I started feeling a little ill in church, I freaked. I came home, took a triple dose of vitamin C and went to bed. I took it easy until today. I think I'm ok, though. Just an allergy flare up, apparently. Whew. So, I swam 30 laps today, used the stationary bike at the gym for 15.5 miles, and worked out in the yard and cut grass here at home. (I may have over done it a bit, LOL.)
Feeling tired but good. And I have butterflies in my tummy that just won't go away. I went downtown and picked up my packet for the Grandman triathlon, the one I'm doing NEXT week. (It's local, so I was able to make early pick up. Won't be able to get my packet for the YTri until Friday night when we get up there.) Meanwhile, I got so excited looking through all my stuff, ESPECIALLY my t-shirt, that the butterflies doubled. Hehe. My number is 350 and I'm the oldest woman registered for the Athena class (women 150 pounds and over). All I want to do is finish! No racing allowed at this point. ;o)
http://www.thegrandman.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=83&Itemid=109
If you're interested in looking at the above website, my name is way down the list close to the bottom. :o)
Meanwhile, I should get through THIS weekend first before I get excited about the next one. *grin*
I'll keep you posted! Thanks for the comment on my page, Nancy! Thanks for asking about me Aldi! And thanks for the encouragement, Bine!

Swim on!

Lol yeah Nancy, It was too funny that she called me Amanda. I guess Aldana is not a regular name for ya English speaking folks :P. And yes, I loved every comment they left, they gave me the nudge I needed to send out my gym application...

And speaking of the gym... I'm WAY proud of my self as today I went for my first swim!! I got the ID on our company mail early today and I thought: "bleh, it's raining I won't go.. maybe tomorrow..." but then I got out of work and was like "I miss the pool so much... ok, I'm going". So I got home, put on my swim suit, went in and swam (a very long) set of 24 laps (600m). It was quite nice actually, life guard sent me to the slow lane (ok, that wasn't nice) and there was only a girl and I. She was swimming every other lap and I only stopped twice to catch my breath (hey I haven't swam in a month, I needed those lil breaks :P). Gosh it felt good! and for various reasons. So I am now proud to say I'm back into the pool and hoping to catch up with my old swimming schedule soon.

Juanita, where are you?? concentrating for your tri?? let us know how you're holding up.

Aldi

Ohmygoodness! Juanita's tri is in 4 days??? Yikes!!! I gotta get to routing her on!!!

Bine - Our Aldi was the featured motivator on SP's community page. I never, ever go there, but yesterday I did, just to find some interesting blogs or something to comment on (I was way bored!). And there was Aldi!! I was (am!) so stinking proud of her!!!

Aldi - I love all those comments you got! How's THAT for a little return motivation, eh? I really love that one girl called you Amanda, tho. That just made me laugh, Amanda. Naw - doesn't fit you.

Thanks Nancy!! I just read your comment, you're so sweet!! I was surprised too to be in the spotlight, got tons of messages and as I said in my "thank you note" they helped me make up my mind and finally sent in the registration for the new pool... I was making up excuses to not go but then figured I have to, I owe it to my self, to all that I've done and you guys for always supporting me.

Bine, WOW: great goal for this year. I think I will join you, just a few less miles.. I haven't swam in a month now :S!!!! BTW: You've certainly done a great job so far.

Juanita, 4 days to go, woohoo! Bet you're scared to death by now, but don't worry, you're gonna rock that tri and the following one too! Like Bine said, rest some before the tri, don't want to run out of energy on your special day, ok!?

Talk to you guys soon!

just remember to get in some rest before the tri!
and another one on the weekend after that? ow ...

i'm finally getting to the end of the english channel challenge - one more swim will do it. did 2700 meters/1.68 miles today and have 1.3 to go.

i think after this i will make my own challenge - i added up all he swims i have recorded for all three challenges so far and found i have done 84 miles since july 16 last year! let's see if i can make it to 100 within one year!

Wednesday 1500 yards, 30 laps, .88 miles
Friday 1000 yards, 20 laps, .57 miles

I did a brick at the gym today. I swam 20 laps, biked 16 miles (in 56 min.) on stationary bike and then ran 3.1 miles on the track. OUCH. Will be my last hard workout, as I'll take 2 days off and do easy workouts next week. I've decided that I'm completely nuts because I've regestered for another sprint triathlon the weekend after the YTri. Yep, certifiable.

Lol Nancy!! That was funny!! Way to go with your 1000m! That's 1000 more meters than what I swam last week :P

Juanita, don't worry bout hills, I'm sure you know how to use your bike in those situations and have trained so hard you won't have any problems when in the run. I think that being afraid or worried the days before is normal, hang in there; I assure you once you're there you will forget bout everything and do what you do best: swim, bike and run!

BTW: Got my gym ID on Friday (we get it through work) so now I'm good to go with the gym and pool... Ahh!!! so happy bout that!! Will have to go this next week and see how crowded the 6pm lanes are and figure out a schedule.

Talk to you soon guys!

Hey Aldi! I'm trying to up the intensity this week, and maybe half of next week. I'm also trying to run, at least 1 mile, after every bike. Actually, I get more terrified the closer it gets. (I'm worried about hills on the bike route; there are some big ones. EEeek.) I'll keep you guys posted. Thanks for asking!

Hey guys,

Nice to see you're still in her! I was worried you weren't swimminh anymore.

Nancy, Don't worry bout your swimming, it takes a while to get back into it but you will get back so no worries. BTW: nice pic!! Yes, my job is turning out to be great, today I was taken out for lunch by one of our vendros and then Warner Music sent us some goodies, including Madonnas's new CD "HARD CANDY" (I'm a huge Madonna Fan!).

Bine, I like O2 even more too!! My gym ID show get here soon so I will have the chance to WORK OUT! I haven't in such a long time, uf!! Great job with your swimming, you're a trooper! ;)

Juanita, yes yes, jobs with great views are the best ;P, I even think that one of the hot guys (not my boss, he's taken) like me back :P lol, that was so High school like! How are you getting ready for your tri?? nervous bout it? ready for it? I'm so anxious to know how great you will do!!

Ah you guys, you're such a great group! You will never know how much you helped me. I constantly think about getting in here to check on you and feel bad that I don't have the time so I push my self a bit more to do the right thing.

Talk to you soon, hopefully with some laps to report!!

now hold on to your chairs, gals - i just swam 3500 meters/2.18 miles. i don't know what happened ... after about 60 laps everything felt so easy and weightless and smooth i kept swimming and swimming! so with my 2800 meters on monday i end up with 3.92 miles. almost 4 miles in 1 week! i still can't believe it. i guess banana milk shakes make good fuel!

swim on, all!

Bine! You are SO faithful! Thank you! You keep me inspired. I appreciate you so much... great swim!

i'm here, i'm here! i didn't get a second swim last week, so i didn't show up here.

aldi, that's great news about the discount on your gym membership! now i like o2 even more. i'm happy you like your new job - and i'm sure that awkwardness will disappear once you get to know your colleagues a little better!

nancy, i didn't know what they were called, but boy, do i know those tibualis anteriors! i got a new pair of shoes last summer that must have made me walk in a very unusual way, my shins hurt the first 3 weeks!
hope i'll see you back in the pool soon!

i just swam 2800 meters/1.74 miles, the weather was almost nice enough to go to an open pool ... if it stays like this i'll think about it on wednesday!

have a great week all!

I'm still here, Aldi! Just not swimming much, so not posting much. I did get a km in last Friday. It was one of those "I haven't swum in ages so it was like starting all over" swims. Ugh.

Your job sounds awesome - at least the benes, including the cute co-workers! ;-) Always helps to have some natural beauty in the area to make the time pass a little more quickly. Wish your phone network worked in Canada. We're starting to look for alternatives w/ our cells.

Thx for the congrats on my cert. I still have some practicum hours to log & an evaluation before I get "registered" & can go on to take courses to teach seniors. This is gonna be a long process, primarly due to scheduling & stuff. But it was a fun couple of w'ends, taking the courses w/ younger, fitter women. I was gonna do my darndest to stay up w/ them! & my shins (tibualis anteriors) reminded me of that for days afterwards.

I'm trying to get back to the pool Tuesday night. I need to get back to my 2-day-week routine or it's always gonna feel like the 1st time every time!

Swim on!!

Hey Guys,

It has been a bit quiet lately, where has everyone gone?? I just finished my 2nd week at my new job and it's getting better. It was kind of boring the first couple of days but now it rocks. People is great, the guy I work with directly is a bit over the top but he's a nice guy (and cute too.. BTW: the boss is even hotter!! :P haha). Lunches are always awkward, but I remember back then at the studio it was too for a while.. Good thing is that being part of this company gets me all kinds of benefits. I pay no more cell phone bills, have added features in my land line for free; and this is the best: they offer a discount at the gym I wanted to join.. I have to pay $100 less that the reg price!!

Nancy, congrats on your certification!! that rocks, and believe me is no small thing what you have done, I would kill do it too!!

Rest of you gang, where have you gone????????

Hi folks!

It's been so long since I've been in the pool that I think I need to learn how to swim all over again!

Actually, I went to the Aquafit class I take my seniors to on Friday. I usually swim laps during that time, but a) the lane has been really crowded lately, b) when we drove up, the place was swimming (pun kindof intended) w/ school kids, & c) I needed to observe some fitness classes for this w'ends Group Fitness course, so I went to Aquafit since I was there already. Man, that can be a w'out!

So at our 1st Group Fitness class Friday night after work, who should be sitting there in class but the Aquafit instructor from that morning! The world is just too small sometimes. Especially since I went to that class anyway even tho I didn't have the minumum amt of people to go (I need to have 5 to justify taking the bus out), & I knew I would get in trouble (yup, I did), but it was just too funny to have that gal in the class.

So, I just found out this evening that I passed the Fitness Theory exam! I am soooo relieved! That was one exam I did NOT want to study for again! After tomorrow I will be a certified fitness instructor, which doesn't really mean much in the real world, but it is just a baby step close to getting to take the coursework I need to take to teach stuff like Osteofit to the seniors (instead of some jumble of stuff we teach them now).

Swim on, folks! I hope to be back in the pool Tuesday!

juanita, that sounds VERY hopeful! all the best wishes for her recovery - she seems to be doing so well already! it's wonderful you can be there for her - big hugs to you and lots of positive thoughts!

aldi, that's so sweet your swim mates gave you a good bye. i hope you find a nice crowd at the new pool as well!

i did 3000 meters/1.86 miles today, together with monday that's 5600 meters/3.48 miles which i think was another weekly best, but i've somehow lost track. i don't think i did more than 5300 meters before.
that was so much fun, i have new goggles and swim with my head under the water like a dolphin now, no longer like a duck with the head sticking up.

swim on, friends!

Hey Guys!
Forgive my inactivity. Pat had surgery Friday to remove the remaining brain tumors. The neurosurgeon recommended the surgery a week ago after seeing her last CAT scan. She came through the surgery with flying colors and is amazing everyone with a quick recovery! Such an answer to prayer... the doctors have found a spot of cancer close to her liver, but not ON her liver, so they are holding off dealing with that at present. Meanwhile, her quality of life has been greatly improved by the removal of the 2 tumors.

I did manage a trip to the gym yesterday and swam 30 laps (.85 miles). Yey!

Nancy, I can’t imagine where you’re getting your energy from! Go girl!

Bine, you are indeed a swimming machine!

Aldi! Woohoo! What a great sounding job! And I can’t think of anyone who deserves it more then you. Congratulations!

Swim on!

woohoo aldi, i'm dancing in circles! that's absolutely wonderful. and yes, i have my cell phone with O2. i can't wait what you'll have to say about the job!

nancy, i'm sure once you got a chance to "digest" all you've learned you will feel better about this. i'm sure you can do this! make sure you get enough sleep, your brain needs the time out to sort the essential from the superfluous. hope to "see" you back in the pool soon!

i did 2600 meters/1.62 miles today, i also worked a little more on my technique and breathing and it felt real good. i'll be back in the pool on wednesday!

swim on!emoticon

Yay Aldi! That's awesome news!!! That's sooo great! And what a relief to know that you'll be having some income again!

I haven't been in a pool for ages. Hope to get back in it this week!! I miss it!

My brain is fried. I spent all w'end in a Fitness Theory class on my way to my certification & hopeful registration as a fitness instructor. So much information in so little time! Please don't ask me what I learned - my brain is just plain mush right now. Next w'end it the Group Fitness course, & that's gonna KILL me! I'm in this class w/ a bunch of people who've been working out for years & 3 of the 5 gals in this w'end's class want to teach boot camp. Ugh. I'll do what I can to keep up w/ them next w'end (we gotta do the class so we can teach it, right?). At least I'll get a good w'out.

But now, I'm off to bed.

Hey guys

I have GREAT news: I GOT A JOB!! They called me in on Friday and told me that I got the job I interviewed for and that I should go that same day to sign all the paper work so I can start this Tuesday. I'm SUPER excited about this as this is like my dream job. I will be working for O2 (the European mobile company) as a senior content analyst meaning I will get lots of proposals from providers and I will have to evaluate which one gives the more money, better image value and so on. I was shocked to be picked as this is a HUGE company worldwide. YEAH!!

So, I will probable have to adjust a lot since this is from 9 to 6 and I won't have so much spare time for my walks or my swimming but this is a great opportunity and I should make the best out of it.

Hoping for the best, I will talk to you soon.
