I used to swim at a place with underwater speakers for the synchronized swimming team. That was pretty cool.

Are the MP# players clear enough to listen to an audiobook?

I also have a SwiMP3 and I love it. I put all sorts of different things on it. Recently I have been listening to Adele a lot.

I have one too. It has really helped to increase my speed and calorie burn, as well as pass the time quickly. I lose track of the laps though since I sing along in my head, so I had to buy a lap counter ring too emoticon

I love my SwiMP3 and can't go back to swimming without it for sure. I don't even bother with the ear plugs--it works just as well without and earplugs bother me.

It is cool that it is catching on. emoticon emoticon emoticon

After first reading this thread, I decided to go ahead and buy the SWIMP3 from Finis. I have to say I really like it. It makes such a differnce having music to swim to. I like to swim as it is and now I get done with my workout and wonder where the time went.

I have tried them all, and only carry one for sale at our swim school the SMWIMP# player by Finis. Don't gamble with your mp3 in the pool use the bone conduction, vibration of the SWIMp3 and have the swim of your life. Also, Classical music is the best to swim to, because it's beat is more synchronized to your heart beats!
However, a wonderful sound track to swi to is: sound tracks from Under the Tuscan Sun: total time: 48.2 minutes.., and August Rush! T: 50.3 min.
Hope that helps.

178 to 138 in first gear. I must swim my way to Fiji-Fitness with just months to do it!!!

Thank you for your input. I'll check it out. Lots of activity at the pool last time, so that kept me entertained. This afternoon, it'll most likely be me in the pool, alone, with the lifeguard watching. He must be at least as bored as I am!
Cheers,
Mary

I have the freestyle audio and it's great. the price has gone down a lot too. I have tried other earphones and they are crap - the freestyle stick in your ear and the sound is great. enjoy.

I'm trying to find a waterproof mp3 player or waterproof case to use with my current (creative zen) mp3 player. Does anyone have any experience with this? It seems many items are made for iPod (naturally) but not much for other players. The Finis Swimp3 looks interesting, but is still pretty expensive. Any help would be appreciated.
Regards,
Mary
