2% or whole milk instead of skim milk. That'll help add fat to your diet, without it being unhealthy fats and without changing protein intake.

Thanks for the idea of avacados. I sometimes miss the carbs too, but that is getting better. I still struggle to get the fats. My Dr. told me to be careful about my cheeses and milk being low fat, that I could add 2% instead of skim and that would help.

Avocados are one way that comes to mind. Sounds like you may be eating too many non-fat products which may not necessarily be lower in calories.

Every day I eat the right number of calories but miss the fats by almost half. How do I raise the fats without the calories? I eat plenty of one dish dinners to help me eat less. And I delight in fruit and veggies which don't carry fats. Any suggestions?
