Oh where have I been? Obviously not watching emails on the computer. Anywhere? I think a February in Perth, Australia would be good - it's summer there. Sunny, beaches, and a beautiful coastline.

Come to think of it, HI is just too much trouble. If I don't stay in my comfortable chair reading a good book, I think I'd like to be with Greenie in FL. Fran

I'd love to be in Port Charlotte in winter. I can feel the warmth of the sun just thinking about it!

Donna, you must have been in Ontario in the summer - it gets really hot there.
It's called Hawaii my friend. There are only 2 large airports in HI, on Oahu and on HI. Confusion reins - the city of Hawaii is on Oahu, and Kona and Hilo are on Hawaii.

Depends on the day... some days I would like to be cuddled up in a chair next to a warm fire in a fireplace, crocheting while I watch the snow coming down! Other days, I'd like to be on a warm beach taking in the sun while I watch the waves wash up to the shore! As for a specific place....well it just depends where I could find the above scenarios!

Ann the weather must be changing .............. when we trucked down to ONtario California it was so hot................. real hot......... and we had winter up in canada.......... we loved driving down there but too bad they didn't let us stay for a week or four............
Fran what is that Big Island called? it sounds wonderful.......................
today it is very windy........... -22c and -4 F...............
Thanks for the ticket. I'm going to probably head for the Big Island, up on the hill in the rain forest where my DS used to live. It is 50 mi. from Hilo one way, and 12 miles to the ocean the other. It never freezes - they don't even have heaters in the houses.
Yes, believe it, it has been freezing here in So. CA - but it doesn't last. Tonight it is going to rain, but that too will be short lived. Where I live we don't have snow, our temperature rarely goes above 90, and I'm about 30 minutes from the ocean and 2 hours to the mountains. Sound good - come on down. Fran

Yeah Donna, this was/is one of the the coldest winters in Southern California. Guess the climate change is happening? Ralph, Taiwan sounds great. We've been talking about there or Singapore
sorry .........it won't work.......... it was a direct link to a hotel and rooms...........cost 7 hundred and some for a 7 day stay........... or was it a 5 hundred in canadian for a 7 day stay..............
lets plan something for next winter........... Feb?

We're thinking maybe Thailand. My friend Mitch lives there & tells me it's really inexpensive for a month long stay.
Lots of history & places to see OR
someplace here in the US. Staci hasn't been many places & I'd love to take her on a nice week someplace sunny but not too hot, quaint but within driving distance of someplace spectacular. Fun & yet historic w/ maybe some ocean thrown in.
Maybe northern California, Eureka or Big Sur or southern Oregon. Cruise ship to Mexico might fit the bill???
Clearly I haven't made up my mind, sorry.

Venice is wonderful, Sherry, nearer the time I will tell you of a lovely restaurant, inexpensive and next to the Rialto Bridge ( next door to it is a very very expensive one!) Also the Rialto market is wonderful with all sorts of fresh fruit and veggies and fish. We bought a huge tub of huge blackberries, so juicy!

Vail, Colorado . . . . . to enjoy the pristine beauty of the snow. Not sure I can still ski, but I'd love to experience it once again. The coffee shop was invigorating with colored raw sugar crystals and lovely baked goods. I still buy raw sugar for my morning coffee. The food was great since we were so hungry after spending a day on the slopes. Great memories.
